Best Margaret Builds (Talents, Skill Order, Pairing & Equipment) In Rise of Kingdoms

Below you will find the best order to unlock and level up skills by how useful they are so you don’t have to level the skills up one by one and spend a lot of extra sculptures on it. This will let you use this commander earlier and also saves you important Universal Sculptures in the long run!

Best Troops

Although Margaret doesn’t require it per-se in her kit, bring only Siege Units with her as you want the distance and she has quite some buffs in her skills and talents that only apply to Siege Units, including a great march speed increasing buff that makes a lot of sense. So, don’t over-complicate things with her and run Siege Units.

Best Commander Pairing for Margaret

Babur

Ishida

Babur is the secondary commander of choice with Margaret as their synergy is just too good to not go this route. If you really want to run margaret well, you have to use Babur as well but I’d always run margaret as the primary commander since her talent tree simply has too great options with the Support Tree in there. Ishida theoretically for more Siege Units but it’s a very backup setup. – -. – -. – -.

Best Equipment Forge Order

In terms of equipment, here’s what I recommend to use as the route for Margaret. I have tailored this priority order that you can follow step-by-step to prevent forging and running equipment that is not useful or only provides a very small improvement. Follow the equipment path step-by-step and you will have the best and most economical gear:

Harvester Breeches is the first realm blue equipment that makes sense here since no green or white gear items will add any benefit that you can effectively make use of

Harvester Robes will add the same stats and you will also unlock the set bonus, although that is only 10% more gathering speed which isn't that crazy useful with this commander

Harvester Boots has a little less stats compared to the upper pieces so I'd rather craft and equip them first

Harvesters Headscarf has also decent stats and the new set bonus now is more load speed so also more tailored towards gathering than siege you're looking for at this setup

Windswept Bracers is the only true option here fr the march speed as no other gear piece has other useful stats

Scepter of the Forest Guardian is the first weapon gear I think makes sense here and I wouldn't take the Gatekeepers Shield just for the small EXP bonus. Here you get at least some defense stats on your siege units

Claws of the Forest Guardian is the next set set and you will finally also get some siege stats here and the set bonus that is not too interesting

Robe of the Forest Guardian will add some more attack to Siege units if you want to make the invest

Mask of the Forest Guardian will also add some siege attack and give you another set bonus that isn't too interesting and this is the point where I would stop investing into siege here realistically

Horn of Fury is a great accessory to use with Margaret as you can simply get her primary active skill boost applied more often by gaining more rage.Ring of Doom is is a great legendary accessory on margaret as you will get a flat bonus damage on her that works on all damage her march performs.

Best Builds For Margaret

Below you will find the talent tree builds for Margaret that make sense when running as the primary commander in any march in Rise of Kingdoms. Please also refer to the description below each talent tree as I explain a general route on how you should spend your talents there + some additional background for each talent build that I very likely will appreciate.

With Margaret as the primary commander, you have a ton of great talents to work with that will contribute so well to her kit that I personally believe you have to run her as the primary commander in a ranged march in Rise of Kingdoms.To start out, go into the Engineering Tree and work your way to Forbearance as quickly as possible. This is a re-triggering damage boost that is insane and will increase the damage she deals gradually a lot once unlocked, so don’t spend any talent points anywhere else until you have that unlocked.From here you can go into the Support Tree and, as with pretty much every commander in Rise of Kingdoms running the Support Tree, go to get Rejuvenate first. Remember, Rejuvenate in the Support Tree grants 150 extra rage compared to the 50 rage commanders with the skill tree gain! Then we have Loose Formation and Hasty Departure and you have a great talent build to run margaret with.
