Best Troops

Although Jadwiga has no specific skill that requires cavalry units exclusively, her second skill does only buff cavalry troops and also all talent builds are including cavalry tree talents (when running Jadwiga as the primary commander). The clear recommendation is here to run as many cavalry units as possible with her.

Theodora is a very good garrison commander pairing as they work so well together and as she is more about buffing, she should be the secondary commander in this pairing. Wu Zetian is another great garrison pairing but for the Attile/Takeda era. Saladin is a commander I’d pair her with for the open field as he can generate a lot of rage. Xiang Yu is another good pair for the open field combat with his direct damage factor of his active skill and getting Jadwiga’s buff. Also I’d run Jadwiga secondary with him. – -.

Best Equipment Forge Order

In terms of equipment, here’s what I recommend to use as the route for Jadwiga. I have tailored this priority order that you can follow step-by-step to prevent forging and running equipment that is not useful or only provides a very small improvement. Follow the equipment path step-by-step and you will have the best and most economical gear:

Sharp Longsword is a great and super easy to get piece of equipment and the +5% defense for cavalry optimal

Coarse Breeches also a super low-hanging fruit here with extra attack for cavalry units

Milanese Plate is the very first chest piece as there is nothing prior that makes sense equipping for cavalry

Bronze Bracers are not the greatest equip gear overall but they give some cavalry defense and are the first viable option for this slot

Helm of Fear is the first helm piece to craft now. It has attack, which is not the best to have that early and you rather want defense but you can at least get some attack bonus from it

Edged Boots are the last open equipment slot and should be the last equipment piece to equip since the small attack bonus is the least benefit here, but it gives a litte extra attack on cavalry so it's worth it

Vanguard Halberd should now replace your white weapon and it is incredible good for a green equipment offering a good defense boost that you really need at this point

Vanguard Greaves are your choice here and with the Vanguard Helbred in place you will also get the additional set bonus so you have all green equipment now with a nice bonus and good amount of total stats

Windswept Boots are the first blue gear you should equip after you have all equipment above equipped and it's an incredible gear piece where every stat is on point

Windswept Bracers is the next equipment to replace the Bronze Bracers and it will give you great stats with health and march speed that is quite perfect + you will get the small attack buff as you now have two Windswept gear pieces active

Ring of Doom increases her damage when you have her as your Garrison Captain or in a Pass. If you use her for a flag, though, Greatest Glory or Vengeance are valid choices as well instead of the Ring of Doom.Horn of Fury just keeps her rage income steady and flowing and make her cycle through he active skill more frequently. Also here, in case you have her on a flag, use something like Vengeance instead as Horn of Fury won’t help her much here.

Best Builds For Jadwiga

Below you will find the talent tree builds for Jadwiga that make sense when running as the primary commander in any march in Rise of Kingdoms. Please also refer to the description below each talent tree as I explain a general route on how you should spend your talents there + some additional background for each talent build that I very likely will appreciate.Here’s the build that I recommend using when you run Jadwiga as a garrison commander. With King’s Guard, Impregnable and Impenetratable Infortifications you have great talents to make any defensive situation better for you with good plain buffs. Saving Cross is the only talent useful from the mobility tree and the reduced skill damage is something you will definitely recognize.Know The Enemy and Divine Favor are not really that useful so I recommend putting the remaining points in the Cavalry Tree. Undying Fury should be the first to generate a little more rage and Emblazoned Shield and Disarm are really useful and the buffs you pick up on the way there are also working well. For me not only a pretty solid setup, also one that I don’t see any alternatives to.As I said in the beginning, I’m not a huge fan of running Jadwiga as primary commander in the open field due to her lack of rage generation, but if you do you have your reason so this is the build I’d run her with. This build is fast, you have so much additional march speed that you will be able to move quick around.If you’re going in here get Undying Fury first to get the extra rage before getting Lightning Charge, Vortex and Saving Cross in the Mobility Tree. Then go to the Cavalry Tree and make all your way to the Rallying Cry that will ramp up damage and there’s a lot of useful buffs on your way there.Last but not least get Hasty Departure and you’re good to go running Jadwiga in the open field. But as I said, you really want to consider running her as secondary commander to get her skills in as her talent trees aren’t that nice and use a rage engine commander primary.For this case you really want to get all the march speed possible so this is the build that you should use. To make this build happen you want all the march speed you possibly can get and getting all in on the Mobility Tree is a must, unlocking Time Management as quickly as possible. From here you can use the remaining points to invest into Emblazoned Shield and this should do the trick for Jadwiga in Ark of Osiris as a carry.
