Is Strong Guy A Good Card in MARVEL SNAP?

Strong Guy gains a good power push if you manage to empty your hand so you will not only have net some nice power on the board, you can also increase it after the match ends to take over from your opponent, which can be a great way to use Strong Guy..

Strong Guy in the current meta: Has some synergies that merge him into the discard archetype as that’s where most his synergies are in so he#s a little tied to how discard decks perform in the meta..

Good Synergies with Strong Guy

MODOK is probably to best cards to play along MODOK as you can discard your full hand either on Turn 5 (and then drop your drawn card on Turn 6) or drop MODOK on Turn 6 to empty your hand at the end and scale Strong Guy up after the match ended. Read more about playing MODOK here.
Dracula is also a useful card to get down with Strong Guy as you will discard one of the cards in your hand and still get it on the board – can help by having an empty end at the end + still get the power on the board. Read more about playing Dracula here.
Discard cards in general help a lot with Strong Guy as you normally can’t play down your full hand without discarding some cards. Read more about playing Discard here.
Swarm is a great card to use with discarding effects as you will get it back as 0-cost cards so you still get more power on the board by still being able to empty your hand by the end of the match. Read more about playing Swarm here.

  • KaZoo
you have a ton of 1 Energy cards that give you great advantages (see below) and then use Kazar and Blue Marvel to increase their power towards the end. Alternatively, you can run the line of Strong Guy at the end if you see that you can empty your hand to make a big push on one location at the last turn.Future Prediction: Still a solid starting deck and working but people learned well to deal with it and espcially with Killmonger and other control cards being very common you'll struggle with this deck starting Pool 3 (latest). How to play this deck
  • Pool 2 MODOK
This deck is a Pool 2 deck using MODOK and you're trying to buff up Swarm and discard as much as possible. With Chavez and Strong Guy you still have options if that doesn't play along. How to play this deck
