that have a lot of power or strong abilities work well along Sandman as you want to make sure that they will find you the win condition on Turn 6. Espcially combined with Electro where you can play two 6-cost cards you want to make sure you have enough to have them in your hand

in particular has a great synergy with Sandmand as he will 'only' copy the highest-cost card your opponent plays that turn. And with Sandman's limit this will be only one card so you can be sure to copy basically the whole power your opponent builds
