You need to prevent needle drop at the start at all costs so rather release a little late. If you do a littl ebelow perfect start, you will lose 0.1 seconds from needle drop! Perfect start is about middle of 1 in the countdown. Do a good shift into 2nd gear and use NOS in 2nd and proceed with deep good shifts from here.
