Best Troops
He is a cavalry commander and that’s what you most likely will use, but since he is not that often the primary commander, this is not a question that is decided based on him but more on what commander you pair him up with.
Best Commander Pairing for Subutai
Arthur Pendragon for the open field they fit together like peanut butter and jam. They do enhance each other kits beautifully and are pretty much disgned for each other to dominate the open field in early 2025 (See full build here).
Bertrand if you want to really, Bertrand has incredible synergy accross the board with him (See full build here).
Scipio Aemilianus is also a conquering pari that can work but honestly they are not that perfect with each other and this is more of a pairing of the categry there-is-nothing-saying-no-to-it (See full build here).

Right now there is not really much pairing where you would use him as the priamry commander so talent tree right now is not that important. I am still testing rally so there might be some. Check back later here to see an update.
