Best Force Investment Priority for All Heroes – with Wally West 2026

Force is the talent trees of all heroes in DC Dark Legion where you can improve their skills and attributes and while these come along very innocent with small AC/DC Shard costs, there are several important things that make this a very complex feature that you have to be aware of or you might end up tanking your progress in the game dramatically.

Important To Know:

  • AC/DC Shards invested here are invested. Even a hard hero reset will not reset their Force!!! Every point you invest here is invested for good!
  • Nodes get exponentially expensive. Maxing out a Force Tree will cost hundreds of AC/DC Shards and take you weeks of playtime to gather. Only invest in heroes that you use/that are worth it and in nodes that make sense

I think this is already enough to make my point here – After Level 1, Force gets really expensive and the return value is diminishing. There is no “why-not” investing here anymore and we have below a investment order for you that we think make sense in terms of progressing.

This list here is done in close connection to our frequently-updated hero tier list in DC Dark Legion and also our best team guide for the game.

First Force Investments In DC Dark Legion

Invest in those heroes right away. They will either carry you strong at the start or for a very long time and are useful right away, even when you don’t have all skills unlocked:

Green Lantern
If you get him early, build him. He is a rocking star as support and lifeline of your team no matter if he only has 1 Star or not.. Find below the ideal sweetspots for minimum/optimum/maximum investment.
Superman
You very likely unlock him early as one of the first mythics and he is already good without all skills unlocked. Becomes a more viable frontline than the legendaries quickly so invest in him without hestitation. Find below the ideal sweetspots for minimum/optimum/maximum investment.
Harley Quinn
You get her from the 7-Day Login Event right when you start playing. She is a solid invest in the frontline and goes with quite a lot of combinations. espcially her healing for percentage of dealt damage make her a good frontline as soona s you unlock that skill. Find below the ideal sweetspots for minimum/optimum/maximum investment.
Doctor Fate
Really good as one of the mythics that are just good early on with their 1-Star ability. In his case it's a shield that helps you protect all heroes. Can be useful as occasional swap in or daily frontline. Find below the ideal sweetspots for minimum/optimum/maximum investment.
Batman
Okay... hard take here but since you will get him very early and many players invest the small money from the starter packs to build him, he can be good. he is not an end-game hero though so keep that in mind but if you have him at 5-Star early, invest some here and make him your frontline damage dealer and you#ll be good. Find below the ideal sweetspots for minimum/optimum/maximum investment.
Green Arrow
Absolutely investing early as he will be a good and easy-to-build damage dealer until you unlock some mythics with their skills.. Find below the ideal sweetspots for minimum/optimum/maximum investment.
Mera
Can be your early healer until you get a mythic support that can take over. Invest early but carefully and she will help you push. Find below the ideal sweetspots for minimum/optimum/maximum investment.
Wonder Woman
Actually she is a good frontline hero and she also gets leveled fairly easily and unless you are a player who will spend quite some money early on to get the latest new mythic heroes from the banners, she will be a solid investment for a long time for you as secondary tank even when you have some mythics and once her stars are maxed she can be ascended into mythic which gives her base stats another bump up. She is not meta, but for many players in the frontline for many months of gameplay to come if you're not spending money on the game. If you do, well, then you will have better heroes already by the time you can ascend her to mythic honestly. Find below the ideal sweetspots for minimum/optimum/maximum investment.

High Priority Force Investments In DC Dark Legion

Very useful heroes to invest to but only if the ones above are taken care of or you don’t have them yet:

Zatanna
Why is she no super early invest? Well, she is amazing but she isn't playing her strong cards that early where you push with direct kit mechanics more. The further you get in DC Dark legion, the more important she gets.. Find below the ideal sweetspots for minimum/optimum/maximum investment.
The Joker
Cool and storng but like other top of the tierlist heroes in DC Dark Legion, he is not that amazing early on so rather build thise heroes first and then when you need him later, build him. Find below the ideal sweetspots for minimum/optimum/maximum investment.
Sinestro
Also a hero you will need to have the further you get but also very early in the game not that helpful so don#t prioritize building him. Find below the ideal sweetspots for minimum/optimum/maximum investment.
Poison Ivy
Unless you get Green Lantern early on, she is a good hero to have and build and also provides some damage. For sure a hero you might not have in your top-of-the-line squad but the further you get the more alternative squads you build anyways and then she or sure will be the support in one of them. Find below the ideal sweetspots for minimum/optimum/maximum investment.
Wally West
So much damage, and not even needs the full Teen Titan team to unlock his damage for the most parts. Find below the ideal sweetspots for minimum/optimum/maximum investment.
Cyborg
He is a hero you will run for most of it since he chips good damage and also enables enemy damage taken. But he is not that viable that early and you rather level him up well to use him as off-tank but that is nothing you can do too early in the game. Find below the ideal sweetspots for minimum/optimum/maximum investment.
Batgirl
Also a hero needed a lot later when her support buffs and kit rolls a lot better. Early on she is not really doing too much for you. Find below the ideal sweetspots for minimum/optimum/maximum investment.
Scarecrow
Is getting better and better the more complicated the enemy setups get. Not an early invest even if he can be your frontline early on. Find below the ideal sweetspots for minimum/optimum/maximum investment.
Aquaman
Not too early needed unless you build a synergy squad here. Find below the ideal sweetspots for minimum/optimum/maximum investment.

Late-Game Force Investments In DC Dark Legion

These heroes are needed for progress later in the game and are not really that useful/needed early:

Penguin
Not an early invest, more details in the future and you're way better off building the heroes above first. Find below the ideal sweetspots for minimum/optimum/maximum investment.
Robin
Not an early invest, more details in the future and you're way better off building the heroes above first. Find below the ideal sweetspots for minimum/optimum/maximum investment.
Constantine
Not an early invest, more details in the future and you're way better off building the heroes above first. Find below the ideal sweetspots for minimum/optimum/maximum investment.
Swamp Thing
Super enemy energy disruptor that makes him amazing for PvP as soon as he is available on your server. Find below the ideal sweetspots for minimum/optimum/maximum investment.
The Riddler
Requires some advanced heroes to make th ideal synergy but for PvP super important since he can hide your team in the preview. Find below the ideal sweetspots for minimum/optimum/maximum investment.
Hawkgirl
Not an early invest, more details in the future and you're way better off building the heroes above first. Find below the ideal sweetspots for minimum/optimum/maximum investment.
Martian Manhunter
Not an early game hero since you need the synergies with him to snowball with his counterattacks.. Find below the ideal sweetspots for minimum/optimum/maximum investment.
Arsenal
Enables Martian Manhunter so only useful along him and that is not happing too early in the game. Find below the ideal sweetspots for minimum/optimum/maximum investment.
Starfire
Perfect support for Martian Manhunter + Arsenal in the team, but needs heavy invest and her legacy piece to work so you're not looking at an early-game hero here. Find below the ideal sweetspots for minimum/optimum/maximum investment.
Supergirl
She is not really an early build also because she is not released in the first 3 months of the server, but she will open the gate for Superman Family meta and along Superman a really strong hero that is worth building. Find below the ideal sweetspots for minimum/optimum/maximum investment.
Superboy
If you run Supergirl, he is a hero to also have and both together will set the bar a couple inches higher in DC Dark Legion. Find below the ideal sweetspots for minimum/optimum/maximum investment.
Krypto
If you got your Superman Family team, with Supergirl and Superboy covered, he is the healer and should be built. Otherwise, not a priority that much. Find below the ideal sweetspots for minimum/optimum/maximum investment.
Lex Luthor
Not an early invest, more details in the future and you're way better off building the heroes above first. Find below the ideal sweetspots for minimum/optimum/maximum investment.
Black Adam
Not really an invest although he is for many people along Green Arrow a good early game damage dealer. Still, keep your shards here to yourself. Find below the ideal sweetspots for minimum/optimum/maximum investment.

Questionable Force Investments In DC Dark Legion

Those heroes don’t have a fixed spot in the meta and we recommend that you don’t invest in them before they have shown they are actually needed:

Invest very carefully. Doesn't have a solid spot in the meta right now and the invest in the heroes above is a lot more valuable. Find below the ideal sweetspots for minimum/optimum/maximum investment.

Invest very carefully. Doesn't have a solid spot in the meta right now and the invest in the heroes above is a lot more valuable. Find below the ideal sweetspots for minimum/optimum/maximum investment.
Ra's Al Ghul
Not an early build for sure and only if you're ready to go into the League of Assassins as team, which means a ready-to-be-used Deathstroke is in your roaster and you're ready to get the upcoming healer for them after Ra's release as well.. Find below the ideal sweetspots for minimum/optimum/maximum investment.
Talia Al Ghul
. Find below the ideal sweetspots for minimum/optimum/maximum investment.

Queen Hippolyta
Unless there is not more Amazonian heroes release, I don't see much reason building her up. Find below the ideal sweetspots for minimum/optimum/maximum investment.

If you go into the Amazon synergy a good hero to have but that also requires you to have Death Metal Wonder Woman to really work.... Find below the ideal sweetspots for minimum/optimum/maximum investment.

No need to rush honestly as he does not have strong team synergies when released. Find below the ideal sweetspots for minimum/optimum/maximum investment.
