What Character Are Best in Archero 2?
If you have read our guides in the different builds and skills in Archero 2 and you already feel that your head is spinning – there are good news for you. Characters in Archero 2 are not adding more complexity to it and with the exception of a few small skill and build selections that aren’t that big at the end of the day, you can pick every character for every build and have success!

Below you find an overview of them and how they do with the different builds so you can choose the character that you feel will fit your style most:
Tier SFun and a lot of utility although has some randomness to the ability (inventions) and how they trigger. Still absolutely strong.
Tier S+Frequently summons a swarm of drones that deal so much damage, it is nasty honestly. Just pure damage output the highest damage dealing character in the game and although you can't control the timing, most of the time it just slaps like crazy.
Tier S+His micro control and interruptions are so strong and left alone the fact that his weapon detaches so you can just evade and deal damage at the same time is a whole new level. You need to build him, though. Still he is up to this date my personal favorite character just for the versatility.
Tier S+High and constant damage output without much fuss thanks to her hawk ability.
Tier S+Absolutely great with the mass summoned copies that will do a lot so sometimes you can focus more on survival than actually landing your hits as your summons will do that.
Tier S+She is super strong, what I personally don't like is that you are forces to build the new runes just for her where other legendaries can use the runes you build over the last year or so.
Tier SReally strong with the additional damage but overall I feel Thor is just a small tick stronger.
Tier SAnnounced for the limited-time easter event and honestly even without knowing anything about him and only know the he is legendary and time-limited event I am 99% sure he will outclass anyother hero in Archero 2, including Otta.
Tier A+Only available through events when spending a lot of money but also the strongest overall scaling character in Archero 2.
Tier ANot just fun but also really attractive with the homing Cosmic Hoops but you need her Level 3 for that.
Tier AGreat with the additional bleed damage espcially if you have the relics to make a good elemental build.
Tier ASolid hero and he starts snowballing quite a lot. I personally feel he is the strongest epic character in Archero 2 now.
Tier B+From the paid character the best one with lifesteal that make him stay alive longer and then he can turn excess healing into additional damage. Is he worth the money? Up to you, but if you want to buy a character, he is the one.
Tier BRolla is also coming over from Archero Original and she is a free event-limited epic hero so my assumptions are she will be good but you also need (even though you will be able to unlock her for free during the event) invest some to build her to be good.
Tier BReally fun kit that is actually nice whenever you can use bosses to stack up his Sunpiercer ability.
Tier BOverall works but his revive sounds better than it is and if you haven#t the 2-Star for removing the Attack and Movement reduction, this is a very short-lived bonus to have.
Tier BGood but not overpowered. She has solid treats and I am confident to say she is the best of all the rare heroes in the game.
Tier C+Can be unlocked with Gems and is probably the easiest and best character for F2P.
Tier CThe skill universalist that can give you better and more skills/skill picking options. Cool but also expensive for what she is espcially since none of ther abilities help you deal more damage.
Tier D+Flexible character but operates better with closer combat and also slower to level since you can't unlock with Gems but the shards from Guild Store. Great option if you do a close range build, though.
Tier D+Free Starting Character. Should be replaced quite soon and is only a passive buff provider whenever you collected enough shards to star him up. Not bad but also doesn't really provide much other than a couple extra healing.
