Best Troops
With the way his kit works it only make sense to use him along infantry setups when outside a garrison and inside a garrison, well, you have little choice as there is normally always something else in there as well.
Best hero Pairing for Thunder Peterson
Louis makes, for me, the best squad pairing with Thunder Peterson as you will get the crazy healing and the crazy AoE damage and a rage recovery that will give every opponent a hard time when your garrison them. Tom is an amazing combination with Thunder Peterson as he provides increased healing which helps him keep everything up and steady and they can hold up everything in garrison until reinforcement arrives. Eddie also makes a great pairing with Thunder Peterson as he will increase the counterdamage you deal and you will slowly and steadly melt the opponent while keeping alive with the healing. Jacob is a ranger but in the garrison along Thunder Peterson makes a lot of damage while you also have the healing which works pretty good as well. Raigoro is a solid pairing but not perfect. You will have the infantry synergy, great, but the whole skill kits work in very different direction so there is little they do for each other despite using same troops and some common branches in the talent tree.

Below you will find the talent tree builds for Thunder Peterson that make sense when running as the primary hero in any march in Doomsday Last Survivors. Please also refer to the description below each talent tree as I explain a general route on how you should spend your talents there + some additional background for each talent build that you very likely will appreciate. Please mind the talent build in the game strategy section are quite generic and not optimal!!
This is not his recommended build in the game sttrategy guide, this is the talent build you want to use with him for doing whatever you want outside a garrison where you have so mcuh defense and also some damage and I highly recommend you to go deep into the Defense Tree first to get that sweet extra rage that makes a huge difference ntil filling the Infantry Tree.
This is my variation of his garriosn build that is a little different from what the game recommends as I feel the static recommendations you have there are not really hitting the mark all the time and some points are rather spent the way you see it here. Also here, go for the extra rage in the Defense Tree first before everything else and you will be able to hold up everything until reinforcements arrive.
