If you want to make Thane perform at peak performance in AFK Arena, you need to run the right built. While many players think simply maxing out will do the trick (well, not too wrong), there are certain sweetspots with Thane that will give a big boost so I have some recommendations below that you will very likely find interesting.
Thane’s Signature Item should be at +30. The damage increase is quite alright but you need to go to +30 here so it will get triggered when his target won’t hit him. Otherwise, any AoE damage can prevent him from triggering his SI. Furniture Recommendation
Overall it’s recommended to get Thane’s 3/9 furniture set bonus. Thane furniture will increase his damage and survivability really well but his role is only very niche towards end-game. Recommended Artifacts
Duras Call is the best artifact to run with Thane in most cases, although you can also consider running Dual Divinity or Shroud of Verdure as backups, depending on your team setup and what artifact you have available.
Engraving
In terms of Engravings, your final goal should be E60.. Without his ability and stats from E60 you should actually run an alternative (in Cursed Realm). Before that there are anyway many other heroes to pick over him. Learn more about my recommended engraving priority here.
