If you run Spongebog as your survivor in Survivor.io, there are quite some tricky parts to look at when it comes to the gear to use, the weapon to use and also what active and passive skills to pick in order to get the best performance overall. We tested the different setups in hundreds of runs in various modes to give you a guide as much simplified as possible so you don’t have to spend hours of doing those runs yourself.
Disclaimer! For Enders Echo the build is not applying, but we have a dedicated build guide here for that: Enders Echo + Event Builds.

When looking at gear, there are a couple ones to use and we tried to order them in progress so it makes sense. The idea is to start with a starter build that uses gear items that also are used in higher builds so you can evolve the build throughout the stages.
Starter Build
The Start Build is basically your baseline and the only build that makes sense with Spongebob – he is not a character that you would actively play expect for the “for-the-giggles” moments when you want to play him. Best Skill Picks For Spongebog in Survivor.io
Now it gets more interesting, since the skills you pick must synergize with the weapon you’re using, which means that they depend on the weapon you run with your build. Please refer to the section that applies to the weapon you use! If you’re not sure what weapons are working well, please refer to our general weapon guide here
Please mind that these are quite priorities and shouldn’t be looked at too strict, sometimes you just don’t get the skills you need but this will give you an ideal list of what skills to pick early on to get where you want to go.
