There are a couple of things to mind when building Ned in Sea of Conquest to work well in your formations, what ship parts to use, what ships to use with, what stats you need on your ship parts and also what other heroes to pair with.

You’re in the right place, below you will find answer to each one of those questions and this will help you make your Ned perfrom as strong as possible while not mindlessly pumping endless resources into building the hero.

Skill Order Finetuning
Unless you want to spend endless amounts of Pipes into upgrading skills, I recommend for most players to carefully upgrade skills in Sea of Conquest as some skills are more important than others or require other skills to be upgraded before them. When building Neds skills, I don't recommend building them straightforward and adjust the order a bit to get more out of it without wasting too many cigars:

Best Hero Pairing for Ned

Lester
Lester
Tanaka
Tanaka
Will
Will
Cursed Ed
Cursed Ed
Jango
Jango
Zola
Zola

Lester is easily the no-brainer synergy hero here with Ned for all the synergize effects that Lester gets from burn applied to the target and they both deal Blaze Damage so they mutually are working great with each other (See full build here).

Tanaka should be your other no-brainer pairing here for a Blazing damage ship (See full build here).

Will is a great epic hero to pair with Ned as more Blaze Damage and Burning effect synergize well with Lester if you don’t have Tanaka (See full build here).

Cursed Ed increaes all damage which Ned likes for sure and has some debuffs for the target as well so they work great together (See full build here).

Jango increases the rage of Ned and makes him use his active skill more often which translate into more Burning on the target and more passive skill effects (See full build here).

Zola can be used as the Captain with Will if you don’t run Lester (what you really should if you can and want to build a solid Blaze Damage ship) (See full build here).

Best Ship Parts

Ship Parts in Sea of Conquest belong to different sets and have random stats on them and although you equip them on your ships, they need to compliment the heroes you*re using. So, when runngin Ned these are the sets you should aim for:

Burning Crown
Burning CrownBest
Blade o' Freedom
Blade o' FreedomAlternative/Backup
But there is more you have to mind! Every Ship Part, depending on the rarity, will get several attributes that are randomly assigned when collecting it – and they are so important and just the right set means nothing without the fitting stats on it. Before you upgrade ANY ship part, make sure to check here if it has stats that fit:
Blazing DMG
Blazing DMGBlazing DMG is the most important stat here so make sure your ship parts are not fiting for the set bonus but also their main stat (yellow first one) is that.

Pro

Stop upgrading Ship Parts that are not worth it. With all the random attributes on them it can get messy but we tested all setups to show you what stats really matter for this ship setup. Support us on Patreon to unlock the perfect Ship Part setups in Seo of Conquest..
