Best Gear For Hou Yi
Builds in Archero 2 need the right equipment (sets) to be used since the bonus there is very much important. Even with lower rarity gear, which is a huge difference to how gear works in Archero (1/Original). Hereโs the gear you want to use with this build:

If you donโt have Oracle Light Spear, you can always use Beam Staff, espcially if you have a higher rarity with them. Chest gear as wellโฆ. Oracle Armor is working the best but alternatively Echo Armor is a possibility as well. For amulet rings the perfect setup would be Oracle Amulet but unless you spend a ton of money this is impossible to build and merge, so Echo Amulet is always an alternative that you can use. Same for the other gear in terms of sets, you get the ideaโฆ

Skins not only do change the visiual aspect of your character in Archero 2, the ones that are not the regular skin will give extra talents that come into play once you use that skin which gives your Hou Yi and extra boost:

Relics are right now the most long-term effort and you should go for this setup:

The 1.0.15 Hot Update brought an interesting feature which is rune enchantments after you have a rune at Epic +2 rarity and you have to farm the Enchantium in the Shackles Jungle and re-roll until you have a bonus enchantment on your rune that you like. Long story short, the system is not new and heavily RNG and once you re-roll you canโt get back and now everyone is asking for a strategy here.
Theย easy-to-apply strategy is that the options are all pretty good andย rarity wins. Just look how crazy high the red and yellow stats are:
Look how crazy those stats scale, for example BOSS DMG that starts with 0.3% at green and does +15% at red!!! Thatโs 50 times as much! They beat everything else by far so roll for that and if you get a higher rarity enchantment take it gradually. If we would wild theory craft here, technically some stats would be better than others but if you get +15% on a stat it always is better than a lower rarity stat that theoretically is a little better. Donโt over-complicate and gradually work on rune enchantments to get the purple rarity enhancements and youโre good. Everything above that is bonus for now.

Now it gets more interesting, since your skills basically shape your build and are the essential part of your builds, everything else is only foundation. I know there are players that think that it doesnโt matter, but the different buiilds also work better with certain archetype skills!
