For that reason we have here the current up to date attacking strategies that work for Town Hall 16 and how to execute them, broken down as quickly and to the point as possible.

Best Ranked Attack Strategy for TH16
Right now the best strategy for ranked attacks to use at Town Hall 16 is Royal Champion Dive with Root Riders & Valkyries, also to hit TH17 bases that you have to deal with in ranked mode. The attack basically let your sneak into the base with the Royal Champion and take out key defenses before you send in your Root Riders with Valkyries to go through the base after crucial defenses are gone – here is the setup I recommend:
Let’s just show really quick step-by-step how to execute this attack here against a base that is fairly solid in defense:
① Royal Champion Dive
Send in your Royal Champion on one corner and use Invisible Spells to get her into the base to set one side of your funnel for the Root Riders (step 3). Call her back once you feel you have done enough in terms of building your funnel.
② Queen Walk
After you called back your Royal Champion, set your Archer Queen on the other side and let her set the other side of the funnel.
③ CC Troops
Support your Queen by putting down your cc troops so they ideally merge later with your main squad.
④ Root Riders
Now send in all your remaining troops here to go to the middle of the base and support with spells, especially in the center of the base.
