There are 3 car groups in Racing Master – Standard, Sports & Extreme – and you have to have one car in each group and the cars in there perform really different, I can tell you that. So, we decided to make a ranked list that shows you which cars are good on average on all tracks and worth having in your roaster and which ones should be replaced rather sooner than later.

How The Ranking Works
A few things here for you to understand the ranking and make the best out of our recommendations:
- Every season releases new cars. No matter when you start playing, you will participate in the most recent season and have access to all the cars there. New cars are stronger and older cars are falling off. Some hold up better than other but the ranks below are always adapted to the current season. Why woud we rank a car high and say oh it was great in Season 1 2 years ago?! Ever season we re-evaluate every car
- The game had early access in CN, the SEA region and LATAM. Asia is literally 1 year ahead and LATAM 6 months. This means we can learn from those versions what’s coming but they also have different release orders and also in terms of CN servers very different cars so the learning can’t be adapted 1:1. Be careful about the info you get out there, some is just horribly wrong because taken from the SEA servers. In terms of doubt, LATAM is the closest to the global servers in terms of how everything is going
What Are The Best Cars In Each Group In Racing Master?
Below you will find the cars, ranked by their performance but also grouped by their groups since you need one car from each group as strong as possible.
EXTREME GROUP
Here are all the cars of this group ranked
Tier S+Absolutely great. A powerhouse of a car early on, you will unlock ECU levels by pulling the banners automatically and the car has no real nerf-point in later seasons what we learned from the SEA, CN and LATAM servers. Sure the later season cars are better but it is never at a point really considered bad in the game so upgrade it, tune it and love it and since it will give you steady ECU Upgrades from the banners in the following seasons you will upgrade it steadily without having to invest any money.
Tier SReally great car in handling and performance and one of the early apex predators if you're lucky enough to pull it, keep a staple for a long time. It has some grip so you don't have to drift the wide-angle turns too much but if you drift, it does that precisely and exit drifts fast as well so a good pairing between the AMG GT and the M8 and that is super versatile for all tracks and fast.
Tier A+So innocent looking but once built and ECU Level 2 or higher, the top speed and speed out of turns is incredible. No one things how much this car will come after the bad boys in this group, but it runs well above 260 kmh and the turn handling is super smooth.
Tier AFirst banner car but not the best and less powerful than many thing. Super strong acceleration but at higher speeds just stops accelerating more so any track with long straight will become an issue. More important is that this car will wrestle you in every turn and slide like no tomorrow so it requires a lot of focus, experience and attention to work somewhat decent and you actually are happy when the race is over as it is such a struggle. Also in the next seasons it will just get worst and worst and you will feel the missing top speed + the grip is getting relatively horrible so you will have a car that almost always is sliding sideways even in small turns. Unless you really want it and collect all cars not the best car to invest in.
Tier AA lot more viable than you might think and can keep up with most of the legend cars in this group, espcially since you can upgrade the ECU level a lot easier. If you're F2P, this car is a daily driver and even in later seasons a steady helper.
Tier B+Needs a lot of practice as it is one of the few grip cars that don't want and need to drift much. Can turn well but in some turns it is better to break and turn than to drift with it. Still works well on many tracks, espcially the ones without very small-angle turns where you can take large-angle turns without drifting. If that's fun is something you need to decide for yourself but also this car will not be relevant that long honestly and you pick it up sooner or later from the banners anyway so if you have the selection to get it, do not get it honestly.
Tier B+Two-faced demon honestly. While in Season 1 still a good car, struggles more and more and the weight and lack of agility gives you such a hard time on pretty much any track.
Tier B+So cool looking car and I want to love it but the handling is mediocre and the car has more ticks than actual advantages. Congratulations if you got it but also in all honesty think twice before you invest epic parts early on, it will not be a car of long service and in the other early access servers they give it away for free in Season 3 or something like that. Really not a good one, sadly.
Tier B+I really want to love it, but the car is really hard. Understeers a lot so you can't take any turns, not even the slightest ones, with it and if you drift it slides like a cow on ice, very much like the Aventador. Honestly for me the weakest legendary extreme car from the start.
Tier BThis is the login-start-pity car that you get for free and despite not having any customization options, the car is not as cool as you might think in the early races. Has a decent steering behaviour and can drift but just is not precise enough or excels anywhere really that much.
Tier BYou start out with it and ECU Upgrades are realistic but overall once you did a few rides with some apex predators in this group in Racing Master you feel the difference. Still, a nice filler you got here early for ranked and events and it is for sure one of the better purples in this group.
Tier C+Not bad and for sure better than you might think looking at it the first time. There is just so many better cars around.
Tier C+As much as I want to like it, it is so heavy and fights in every turn. It's like the Aventador without the hyper acceleration. If you need to use it with lack of options go for it but don't invest epic parts in it as pretty much a week later better cars have come your way.
Tier C+You either love it or hate it. It has a charm and if you can handle that you have to already arrive at the drift start point being fully in the drift and find your head point in the turns while drifting and handling the throttle with care, this car is actually more fun than rading the first part of this sentence. But honestly there are so many better cars and on tracks that have back-to-back drifts you really want to end it once and for all.
Tier CAbsolutely not. I know you get it for free Day 2 but it has understeering at the worst, even in the smallest turns and drifting feels horrible with having to correct all the time. This car is not half as good as it looks like and not worth any epic modify parts.
Tier DOverall not bad, just as common car has not the power to really keep up. But max it in seconds when you start until you have your roaster and it is a decent beginner car without much invest.
SPORTS GROUP
Here are all the cars of this group ranked
Tier S+If you have the pockets for it (a you can only get and ECU-Upgrade it through top-ups) you have your hands on a beast. Asian servers say it get nerfed after a few seasons but right here, right now the gold standard in this group and the strongest sports group car in Racing Master with incredible handling and acceleration. But one word of caution here, even at ECU5 which is like in the ballpark of 500 USD spent, this car is getting less and less relevant past Season 3 so don't make it the tiebreaker for you if you're on the fence to spend that and that much money.
Tier SAmazing car overall with speed and precision in turns. A great option for seasons to come and if you have pulled it so far it should be in your roaster of daily drives. Not the most exciting one but it gets the job done and will also wor in a couple more seasons well enough.
Tier SAgile, fast and in the early seasons a true predator.
Tier A+Can be bought and maxed out fairly cheaply through the shop and is cool and more than solid, but not the apex predator many players want it to be and certainly not viable in the progressing seasons, unfortunately. It is literally a paid boost in Season 1 on global launch that will give you a big boost early on as it is strong in Season 1 but after that it becomes less and less viable.
Tier A+Comes accross a little boring at start but the reality is you have a very precise and fast car here than can keep up with the top cars in the first season easily.
Tier ALess powerful than the first banner might make it look like. Takes some time to get used to and in tracks with many turns back-to-back can feel like a big challenger, but still overall a strong car here and also useful in a few more seasons.
Tier ASurpsingly agile and fast. Sometimes get stuck on start even with perfect RPM and if you can tame the wweight and size in the drifts you have a pretty fast car in this group here free at your hands and also in later seasons a good option but it sometimes can really give you a hard time navigating it through more narrow tracks, not because it is not good to drive, simply because it is so massively big.
Tier B+More than solid and can keep up with some of the legend cars in early seasons because ECU upgrades are easy and cheap to get from the mall. Handling can be a bit tricky but you get used to the sliding and once you get used to it, actually is a more than reliable car.
Tier B+Pretty alright and as F2P for sure a car to have in your roaster. Decent performance and easy ECU Upgrades and honestly can keep up with some of the legend car in this group here but I find it overhyped in some sources for how well it actually does when having to race a top legendary car from the group.
Tier BYou feel the weight when you have to drift with it, as an epic car it would be great but as legendary just feels a little lackluster.
Not bad but just lacks the speed and versatility to be really competitive in the group. Can be used as filler and for events but at the end of the day not a car that will push you too much In Racing Master.
Tier C+Feels like a ship and despite a few track can't really stay on track enough to be competitive.

STANDARD GROUP
Here are all the cars of this group ranked
Tier S+The absolutely pinnacle of the group. Fast and so smooth drifting with amazing handling will be fun on all turn-heavy tracks for seasons to come.
Tier S+Cool but you need not only to pay extra in the Race Pass to get it, also to keep it ECU 2 you need to continue having an active Race Pass and there is no other way of upgrading the ECU Level. I mean if the Race Pass is what you buy in the game continuously and plan to continue without spending significantly more, it can be an interesting car but the structure feels very much like a rented car. The car itself is extremely strong and precise fun to drive though so you will get your moneys worth with it.
Tier SGreat handling once you get used to the little icky behaviour in some turns and how to throttle out of turns when it loves to wheelspin a bit.
Tier SSuper strong car with great speed and also drifting. The point between green and red drift could be wider as sometimes it feels you drift great and then suddenly the car is sideways, but most of the times you can easily cruise through the track. Although I must say it's more fun on tracks with wider angle drifts than narrow city courses.
Tier SAvailable in the first Race Pass and you only get the ECU Upgrades through buying the pass for every season. Has super smooth drift handling but sometimes just feels a little non-crispy enough and more like smoothly cruising the 50s in London than a racetrack.
Tier AHas some flaws espcially due to the short axis but in narrow street courses with a little bit of skill it really outshines many stronger opponents.
Tier B+Not bad but has understeer a lot, is super heavy and in any narrow track you just want to close the game and play outside for a bit, this is how hard it makes your life. On tracks with more space it has its moments but honestly there are better options here.
Tier B+You get it at the start of the game and easily max ECU out and it is actually a great car in the early seasons unless you replace it with other legend cars.
Tier B+Mostly alright but for whatever reason is a little slippery in the drifts and also the speed and acceleration is not what you're used to with the top ranked cars in this group. I am personally quite a bit disappointed with the car.
Tier BOne of the most fun cars honestly but be careful, it has so much power it sometimes just breaks out the rear when full petal to the metal on a straight line so get used to very carefully handle the throttle. Can drift very much back to back as well but you have to find the correct entry points, there is no correcting once the car is in the drift. Don't be scared off when driving it a few times, ocne you get the trick it is too much fun to stop.
Tier C+Super heavy cruiser and not easy to handle. For me the worst of all legend cars in this group.

Tier C+I want to love it more espcially with the cool bodykit you get, but the speed is jsut not there although it is so much fun on narrow courses with the small size and wheelspan. But it becomes so irrelevant after Season 1 it is not really worth the upgrade.
