Each car in Racing Master has different stats but beneath that also has very inidivual behaviour so you have to not only drive it right, you also have to build it right and the Ford Mustang Mach 1 is no exception. On this page you will find everything you need to master the car at its full potential.
Below you will find the ideal tuning (and it’s often not what many players think it is) and also some advice for driving it.
How Strong Is The Ford Mustang Mach 1 In Racing Master?
How To Drive The Ford Mustang Mach 1
Enter corners at high drift angles, adjusted based on the severity of the turn, while allowing the car to slide with little to no counter steer. The speaker emphasizes that the vehicle prefers to flow rather than fight, so drivers should avoid engaging the drift at low RPMs, especially during switchbacks, to prevent spinouts. It is recommended to keep the engine speed high, manage the throttle carefully, and focus on carrying momentum throughout the track to handle the car’s temperamental chassis effectively
How Tuning For The Ford Mustang Mach 1 In Racing Master
Use an effective balance for the vehicle, as it helps preserve the car’s signature snap oversteer while simultaneously maintaining its boosted acceleration values + create a more stable and balanced race tune that allows you to keep the vehicle lively and perform well across various mixed track conditions without fully unleashing the car’s more difficult handling habits
Before we hop into the tunes, here are some important things to always keep in mind when it comes to tuning in Racing Master:
Tuning your car is more important than just improving stats, each car drives very individually as it has size, horsepower, front/rear/all wheel drive, weight and so much more. Most players make the mistake to tune for stats! That is wrong! If you just go after what tune setting gives you the most extra 0.1 or 0.2 here and there, you are setting yourself up for failure.

Let’s make an example here (it’s not for the Ford Mustang Mach 1 just to show you reality and where player go wrong so many times) – the first tune would be according to what improves the stats most but it actually made the car literally un-drivable. Much slower than with the base tune. With the right tune the stats don’t look too different, but it improved the overall car performance dramatically and gave it more than 5 seconds better track time.
To make this even more difficult, you only have a certain amount of free tuning per car, after that the game will require you to spend resources for more tuning so simply testing trial and error is getting expensive on top of that. Also some ECU-Levels do unlock hidden traits that are not that obvious that require different tunes. Long story short, we spend a lot of time testing cars on many accounts to give you the result so you can spend more time racing and less testing.
If you wonder where the tuning is, go to your cars modify settings and there you can click on the top right area with the numbers and you have the tune setup right there:

When tuning you want to mitigate the weaknesses of the Ford Mustang Mach 1 but also hightlight the strengths of the car. Some of those are obvious, like top speed and acceleration, but the rest of the settings are working a lot more under the hood in how they impact the cars behaviour.
Important! Please use the correct tune below depending on the ECU Level of your Car! You see that below the car name and it can change the tune setup drastically! ↙️

Be careful, there are many recommendtions out there based on the different local versions of the game (mainly the Chinese version that was released first and is super different from our version, the SEA version that has very different car setups and car release order, etc.). I am not saying this to self-advertise, jsut if you run into a tune that is super weird to driver, it is likely coming from an asian server version where are and the whole game feels a lot different. I know, I did play them for almost a year.

Trouble Finding EVU? What is ECU?
If you get duplicates of a car you can use the duplicates to raise your ECU Level. The ECU Level goes from ECU 0 (unlock the car) to ECU 5 and each level will give your car a massive boost on top. You can see the ECU level of your car here:
