Shift Pattern
Use this shift pattern without Stage 6 Upgrades or if you don’t have many Fusion Parts installed
Perfect start (not that easy, release just before the countdown ends) and immediately go into 2nd gear. From here use good shifts up to 5th gear (be quick, the RPM is really fast in those lower gears) and use your nitro in 5th gear. From here continue with deep good shifts

To run a time of 8.291s with the John Cooper Works GP, you will need to have all Stage 5 upgrades installed and all fusion slots filled. Please mind that having less fusion parts can make your car a little slower for each missing fusion part and alter the values of the NOS tuning! If you struggle with having different numbers on the NOS, you go after the 2nd value (the -Seconds-). A fully maxed John Cooper Works GP can get you 7.186s. You can compare this car with all other cars here in the full time overview table where you also find all the tunes for all other cars in the game linked.
