Beating Necrodrakon in Dream Realm reliably is important as the rewards are important to level up the Hero Focus and EX Weapon of your heroes which become increasingly important in the later stages of AFK Journey.
So, how to beat this boss and the other bosses well?
Just using the recommended heroes won’t cut the chase and with only 7 attempts every day, testing different formations and lineups can become increasingly difficult – but the good news here is, we have the best lineups ready for you to help you get the best score possible and also some setups for players that don’t have the celestial and hypogean heroes built and ready in their roaster.
Also, make sure to check the best lineups for all the different game modes and other bosses in AFK Journey here and also stay up to date what heroes you should build first with our best hero guide here.
Best Teams To Beat Necrodrakon in AFK Journey
Before we go, let me please give you some advice about Magic Charms:
Bot have the same setup and same hero investment, but one is 60 Resonation Levels higher… how can that be? Well, if you use the recommendation Magic Charms in Dream Realm, you will lose a lot of potential! Please check our linked recommended Magic Charms for each team to make sure you get your full potential on the road!!!
Necrodrakon Meta Team
The best team right now but also quite heavy on the spender requirement but you can’t argue with the impressive total damage you can get with it
Phraesto here is his illusion to provide the special buff for Scarlita. Lily May is a big part of the damage you deal here and trigger and snowballs a ton but does well int he frontrow as well so make sure to have her in that position. Scarlita provides great damage and helps deal with everything here so well and make the whole team better that she is one of the core backbones against Necrodrakon. Phraesto tanks and deals damage and provides buff for Marilee behind him as the secondary damage dealer. This is his real position, not the illusion. Marilee gets buffed up by Reinier and Phraesto so she will deal as much true damage as possible in this lineup. Reinier buffs Marilee, heals and supports overall so well. Evocation Spell will randomly buff your heroes stats in a way that they work the best. Can be a little rng at times so make sure to use all your runs to make sure you get your highest score with it.
Necrodrakon Alternative Meta
Very close in damage and you don’t need Phraesto built up that much and use Temesia instead
Scarlita provides great damage and helps deal with everything here so well and make the whole team better that she is one of the core backbones against Necrodrakon. Lily May is a big part of the damage you deal here and trigger and snowballs a ton but does well in the frontrow as well so make sure to have her in that position. Reinier buffs Marilee, heals and supports overall so well. Marilee gets buffed up by Reinier and Phraesto so she will deal as much true damage as possible in this lineup. Temesia charges through and deals great damage and off tanks to a certain degree which is all you need here. Evocation Spell will randomly buff your heroes stats in a way that they work the best. Can be a little rng at times so make sure to use all your runs to make sure you get your highest score with it.
Necrodrakon F2P Team
This is a great F2P setup without any fancy hypogeans other than Reinier that you should have built anyways and the damage potential is pretty sweet and competitive enough for most servers
Temesia is great for her flexible positioning so the damage aura will hit her as little as possible and she has some self-sustain. You want her ideally at Supreme+ and with her EX+5, but you can also run her lower than that. Seth should be Mythic+ and have EX+5 as well. Marilee should be Mythic+ and have her EX+5 (or at least somewhere close to that). Reinier can be used at any awakening but ideally with his Hero Focus and EX he is working a lot better. Still, even with only one copy viable enough to run him. Starshard Artifact will deal damage here and contribute well. You have enough healing in this setup to focus your artifact on damage.
Conclusion
I hope this guide helps you setting up your teams and starting to daily farm your materials for getting more epic hero copies from the Dream Realm Store so you can upgrade your vital heroes and also start gathering the materials needed to upgrade your Hero Focus skills and EX weapon levels as you will need them badly soon.
