Yes, builds in Capybara need the right equipment to be used since the bonus there is very much important. Even with lower rarity gear. Here’s the gear you want to use with this build:

Important! This is the recommended gear but also other gear is more universally working. We have all possible gear items ranked for all builds here in our general gear guide so you can see what other gear can also work with this build.

If you don’t have Reapers Staff, you can always use Nomad Staff or Forest Staff, espcially if you have a higher rarity with them. Chest gear here is the same as for all builds right now with Dragons Breath Armor working the best but alternatively Revival Cape and Tunic being a possibility as well. For rings the perfect setup would be 2x Judgment Ring but unless you spend a ton of money this is impossible to build and merge, so Magic Ring is always an alternative that you can use. Same for accessory, if you are one of the 99.99% of players that can’t just build two Reckoning Badge, use Icy Bubble as alternative or substitute.

There is two ways to build your pet and we have tested and discussed a very long time which way to recommend. Of course, you can go for the very specific build DMG here but that will come very expensive later on. So, let’s assume that you pick Skill DMG here but it turn out you get amazing gear for other archetype damage later so you want to switch. Or balancing gets off and other damage archetype becomes better later…. what we are trying to point out here is that pets are not that specific on builds and building them shouldn’t be something that you should do over and over and over again. For that reason we recommend going for the more universal stats when building your pets. This will be around 5% less effective but you won’t set yourself back a ton if you have to change your build later on.

If you are a high to moderate spender and progress on your server in the competitive parts is important to you, go with all Skill DMG here but for most players the best here is having a healthy mix of Global ATK and Global HP.

With the 1.5.5 Update there was a change in mounts so mounts now have two different features and skill. The primary one is the mount skill, which you can only activate from one mount – and this is how strong they are:

And honestly we tested this a ton and thought first our tests where all botches since surprisingly neither position nor anything else than rarity changed much! I mean we have been testing for hours and there is literally no other recommendation than using your highest rarity mounts for awakening. The higher the rarity and star level the more to the left. If you start micro-optimizing you can only get up to 1.5% better performance here so just save yourself the trouble. Highest to Slot 1, 2md highest Slot 2 and 3rd highest Slot 3 and you have the strategy here. Maybe things will change in the future but this is how it is with Mount Awakening right now.

Best Artifact

Exactly the same as with mounts, you have your active artifact skill (called Artifat Mastery) which you have to choose according to this ranking:

Also here, same as with mounts, there is not too much room to wiggle and optimize with Artifact Awakenings right now. Put your highest rarity ones and best-built ones in and it will work the best.

Once you maxed out the original basic talent tree, you will be able to equip two active Legacy Heroes (can be unlocked) that will actively proc in battle and up to 4 brands that provide passive treat:
