I do know that many of you who come here to this page want to have a clear answer towards the questions “What are the best skills?”, like having named the 5 best ones and call it a day. Well, don’t kill the messenger but this quiestion is a lot more complex than you might think but if the skills would be so clear to pick, nobody would need the guide I am writing right now.
So, picking the RIGHT skill for you in THIS certain situation in Capybara Go is the art that makes you either succeed or not and let me walk you through the game concept real quick and you will understand what I mean and if you will read this guide here to the end, I guarantuee you that you always know exactly what skill you want to pick.
Picking Skill in Capybara Go…
… can be a nightmare at times but you can narrow it all down:
- Main Archetype – this is what your attack is based on, which is the core mechanics and these right now Basic Attack, Rage Skills and Roundbased (using Counterattack or Round Triggers, more on that below)
- Refine Archetype – each archetype now has more refined builds, they depend as well on your gear, like the main archetype:
- Basic Attack can have either crit/combo builds or effect builds
- Rage Skill can have either burst hit or effect builds
- Roundbased can have either Counterattack or Hitbase builds
- Lightning, Poison, Icy Spikes… that all is on the go where you put synergies together so don’t think about that too much when choosing your build as this changes in every single match
So what you want is to go one route and also pick all your gear and pets that synergize with that and then choose the skills that have synergies. So let’s say you run a Basic Attack build you choose Combo so you can have more Basic Attacks and from there you give the basic attacks effects like Poison, Lightning, etc so every basic attack can trigger more. And from there you pick more additional effects for Poison and Lightning on the go. But all that depends on the skills you can actually choose from. What’s important is that your gear synergizes with Basic Attacks so you look into picking skills for that.
Main Archetypes
Let’s look at the main archetypes a little closer:
- Basic Attacks (at the start of every round) that can either get enhanced effects like poison, lightning, shield, etc that make you stronger or hit multiple times after another through combo and deal critical damage
- Rage Skill (happens when the rage bar is full) so you can either build that to build Rage a lot every round and then hit either like a truck with your rage skills or apply additional effects with it
- On Defense – works through either counterattack that will hit enemies back that hit you or use dagger and timed hits that will strike enemie every round. Here you want to make yourself as sturdy as possible so enemies will literally melt over time
