How should you build and invest in Baelran in AFK Journey? Best Investment Milestones for Baelran
To give you a little bit of thought process behind our guide – in general every hero has their best performance when totally maxed out. But you can’t max out every hero since the resources are very limited so what we did is taking the strenght of all Hero Focus Levels and EX Weapon Levels along the cost of investment and how good a hero is in the different game modes together which indicates you which investment have HIGH value and which ones won’t.
This also means there are certain milestones of investments, basically levels of EX Weapon that will provide valuable stats for a relatively small inestment. We spent weeks of testing and calculating on dozens of accounts to find out the investments that are worth it for every particular hero but also in relation to the bigger picture – means a hero that is used in many game modes is more valuable than one that shines in only one mode.

Magic Charms for Baelran
Magic Charms are pretty much the only spot where you can customize your hero – so that means either make your hero stronger or do something very wrong and botch it. The recommended Magic Charms inside the game are based on normal game modes, but for Dream Realm and PvP modes you need different charms! The result against bosses and in PvPis dramatically different for some heroes – never rely on the in-game recommendations!!
Before we take a look, I want to clarify a few things about Magic Charms where a lot confisuon is hovering around:
- Magic Charms are SEASONAL which means they get fully taken away once a season is over
- Even ifyou go back and do a previous Season in Peaks of Time, you will use the Magic Charms of the current Season. Let’s say you started playing later and you haven’t finished Season 1 and Season 2 – this means you will not pick up S1 or S2 Magic Chars there, you will use the ones from the current season
Why am I writing this here? Well, since the game launched there have been quite a number of guides and infographics out there that started a lot of confusion about Magic Charms. All you need is to adapt your Magic Charms to the current season and the game mode you are doing – or simply use our recommendations that we always update and call it a day 🙂
