So many different troops and attacking strategies can make one feel a little lost at times and if you are a veteran player you might stick with what you know although there is something better and newer players can be easily lost in the midst of what is the best attacking strategy easily when searching around.
For that reason we have here the current up to date attacking strategies that work for Town Hall 7 and how to execute them, broken down as quickly and to the point as possible.

Best Ranked Attack Strategy for TH7
Right now, there is no way past Zap Dragons for TH7 attacks, the most reliable and effective strategy there is and has been for a long time (and probably will for a long time). Having this strategy down is so crucial for your success at Town Hall 7 that we can’t stress enough to learn and use it simply as there is no way to defend this strategy at Town Hall 7 and even TH8s have their problems with it.
The strategy is named after the troops used, which is as many Dragons as you can plus as many Lightning Spells as you can to take down Air Defenses. Then you use the Barbarian King and your Clan Castle troops to build a funnel and send in all your dragons and there is your 3-Star. So here is your setup (if you can’t get a Furnace donated to your Clan Castle use Raid Medals to fill them in.
I have taken a base here randomly just to show you how to execute the attack and you can follow along:
① Select Entry Point & Zap The Air Defenses
The selection of your entry point is always into the back of the Air Sweeper so you don’t have that messing with you. Your dragons will destroy the Air Sweeper before the effect comes into play
② Zap The Air Defenses
Now use 5 Lightning Spells on the Air Defense that is the furthest away from your entry point. Drop the Lightning Spell on the very tile ABOVE the Air Defense to make sure you get the strikes hit the Air Defense and also make as much damage around it.
③ Funnel
Before sending in all dragons you have to make sure they will stick together and fly all over the place and get picked one-by-one from the defenses. Always remember they target the Air Defenses first so we just need to use your Barbarian King on one corner and our Clan Castle Troops on the other corner to destroy a few buildings and then the dragons can go marching in.
④ Dragons In – 3-Star Out
Then send in all your dragons at once in between the section that you cleared, right to the back of the Air Sweeper and watch them take down the base. That is it.
Best War Attack Strategy for TH7
Honestly for Town Hall 7 you will also use the Zap Dragon strategy shown above the same way in war attacks. The only big enemy you have here is the clock so make sure to execute your attack as quickly as possible but sometimes a base is designed that you can’t 3-Star it because of time but that still doesn’t mean you should get funky and most of the times you will be brutally successful with Zap Dragons against any TH7 base in war.
