So many different troops and attacking strategies can make one feel a little lost at times and if you are a veteran player you might stick with what you know although there is something better and newer players can be easily lost in the midst of what is the best attacking strategy easily when searching around.
For that reason we have here the current up to date attacking strategies that work for Town Hall 13 and how to execute them, broken down as quickly and to the point as possible.

Best Ranked Attack Strategy for TH13
Since you can be easily paired up with higher Town Halls, an odd attacking strategy here works the best no matter what – the Royal Champion Dive. In case you never heard of it, you will use your Royal Champion with a lot of Invisible Spells to go thorough the base step-by-step and take out crucial defenses and once that is done you send in mass Dragons to clean up.
The strategy pretty much all the time follows the same steps that I want to show you real quick looking at this solid example base – a base similar to what you will running into over and over probably:
① Royal Dive With Invisibility
At Town Hall 13 you have to start learning and practicing your Royal Champion Dive, which is basically using the defense-targeting mechanism of your Royal Champion along many Invisibility Spells to get her deep (dive) into the base and take out many defenses. Don’t be shy here, she will literally take down like a quarter of the base here so you have like a three-quarter pie left for the dragons. Make her always stay in a new Invisibility Spell area right before the current one runs out to prevent the defenses to ever target her. If you pull the cc troops, use your Poison Spell.
② Dragon Cleanup
Now use TWO of your dragons and send them in where your Royal Champion cleaned defense. otherwise your main dragons go to that area, you don’t want this as they are too slow and time will become an issue then later on.
③ Archer Queen Snipe
Now use your Archer Queen in another corner with the Giant Arrow to get one Air Defense and one Air Sweeper down.
④ Dragons In
Now send in your Dragons and Balloons, with the Grand Warden and the minion Prince and let them clean up since there is pretty much no real defense left to get you down
