We had a ton of questions and comments about arena teams and if you have read our recent guide about the best marches in each Generation in Whiteout Survival and ask yourself if there’s something similar for arena, you are in the absolute right spot here. There are quite some mistakes you can make here in terms of what heroes you use, swapping out the wrong heroes when new generation heroes become available and also where to position your heroes. There are numerous pitfalls when infantry heroes are not to be placed in the frontline and other heroes can do frontline action although they are not infantry heroes. I am getting ahead of myself here, the point is the have below ideal arena setups to use (defensive or on attack) that work best for each generation – and to make this a guide that help actually, we have one for F2? players for each generation and one for those of you that unlock all new heroes each generation.
What Are The Best Arena Teams in Whiteout Survival?
Below you will find two teams for each generation, one for f2p and one that is the absolute best but requires you to spend money. Please also mind that the arrangement of the heroes is the way way you should arrange them yourself, with the top row the frontline and the bottom row the backline of your lineup.
Generation 1 Best Arena Team (F2P)
Without the main paid heroes and only Molly as the legendary you get, this is the best team to run in arena without spending money in Whiteout Survival
Generation 1 Best Arena Team ($$$)
This is the most dominant arena setup to have in Whiteout Survival in Generation 1. Molly and Zinman are good for marches here anyway for the early Generations but to dominate, you need to also build Natalia
Generation 2 Best Arena Team (F2P)
Suprinsingly for many players, Flint comes in here. The issue where most players go wrong is that they put him in the frontline but he is not able to keep up in the frontline but you want his area effect – ideally just replace Jasser with him in the backline and you’re good to go
Generation 2 Best Arena Team ($$$)
Not too much of a change here compared to the recommended Generation 1 lineup, only Alonse thrown into the mix here instead of Jasser and there you go
Generation 3 Best Arena Team (F2P)
A little disclaimer here what F2P means. If F2P means to you that you will not spend a single cent, you need to continue using your Generation 2 team from here on as there is nothing you get for free that will help you improve. If you are spanding just a tiny, Mia and Greg even without building them too much are huge improvements here for your arena team
Generation 3 Best Arena Team ($$$)
To build the best team for this generation, replace Zinman with Greg. I am not saying that you can’t somewhat successfully rock the setup from Generation 2 here, but if you want the top-of-the-line arena setup, there is no way around Greg
Generation 4 Best Arena Team ($$$)
Generation 4 is where the game shows some of the true colors where the meta team requires all new Generation 4 heroes to actually be able to stay up to the steps taken
Generation 4 Best Arena Team (F2P)
This is a more affordable alternative here to use
Generation 5 Best Arena Team ($$$)
Generation 5 also makes a huge step here with the new heroes but if you need to play it a tad slower, only use Hector for the frontline. He is from all the heroes the biggest help
Generation 5 Best Arena Team (F2P)
Only Hector is the hero that will make a change worth it
Generation 6 Best Arena Team ($$$)
Renee in the frontline is a must here, the other heroes are quite well how they are compared to Generation 5. If you want to go big here, get Wayne as well
Generation 6 Best Arena Team (F2P)
This is a more affordable alternative here to use
Generation 7 Best Arena Team ($$$)
Your frontline from the previous generation is still good here but for the backline you really have to invest in the new backline heroes
Generation 7 Best Arena Team (F2P)
This is a more affordable alternative here to use
Generation 8 Best Arena Team ($$$)
Arena-wise and staying in the rankings in Generation 8 is really nasty as you need to get all new legendary heroes
Generation 8 Best Arena Team (F2P)
This is a more affordable alternative here to use
Generation 9 Best Arena Team ($$$)
If you did the full circle of new heroes in the last Generation, this here will be a bit easier for you but still the further the generations go, the more investment is needed honestly
Generation 9 Best Arena Team (F2P)
This is a more affordable alternative here to use
