Once the early-stage in Dragon Traveler sets and you will get stuck the first time where simply waiting a few hours and then take the stage by higher-leveled luminaries it gets to build teams with strong synergies. Synergies and how the skills interact with each other are incredibly important and the only way to progress once you have your heroes at Level 100 and you canât just level them higher just like that. Below we have multiple teams for you that have proven track records and work well and they can give you a nice blueprint what luminaries to focus on and how to put your team(s) together to progress further. Of course, all of that is in close synergy with our ranking of all heroes if you want to see which ones are strong here.
The Best Teams in Dragon Traveler â From Beginner To End-Game
Below you will find the teams that work well and we did sort them from early-game to end-game so the top ones are for players that just started out and the lower you go on this page the more progressed the teams get.
Beginner â¤ī¸âđĨ Elemental Echo Team
Friendly team for beginners and if you happen to miss out on a luminary, just replace with what you have as long as you have at least one tank, one healer and one area/multiple-target damage dealer in your lineup
Oberonnie is super cheap from the launch event to star up so although she is o paper nnot the most perspective luminary to keep, she is really good early on as she is pretty high awakened. Siegfried is easy to star up with the copies you get from proceeding the regular story chapters and as warrior with the synergy more than capable early game. Fenrir is unlocked through the Daily logins event on launch and for the start a great assassin to have. Ifrit the first banner and honetly get 2 copies of her with all the free summons you have as this unlocks her damage potential and she will carry your team damage-wise for a while. Melina is normally a SSR you will pull with the regular summons you get for free and with fire synergy here and AoE a luminary that does well enough in this beginner team. Siren is only SR but a straightforward healer that you need. Can worst-case be replaced with another faction healer but you will pull her in the first 2 days.
Possible Substitutions
Atanith always a good replacement with her overload delay for enemies she can always be a viable substitute when youâre stuck at a stage. Lorilin is very likely a SSR you pull early and she deals good damage early on to swap her in if you need more DPS or you need to replace a DPS luminary in the recommended lineup. Helveil although from a different faction a probable pull early and can also be in the frontline for more tanking if needed. â -.

Dvalin is a great espcially once you see more and more dual-assassin comps popping up. Ifrit is still such a powerful DPS option that has a good place here in the team for the most parts. Poseidon for the immortality well-used even with one copy. Venus is an incredible support and for 99.9 percent of cases the perfect fit here to keep your team viable. Zagreus absolutely has control here and so often makes the worst not even happen by keeping enemies under cc. Vivian always a useful damage boost.
Possible Substitutions
Gullveig works as a great substitute with AoE heal if you struggle against setups that just have a lot of chip damage on your team. Lorilin is a great interruptor if you have to deal with setups that just throw strong ults at you. â -. â -.

Athena just is so strong with her taunt, Aoe damage and pulling enemies together. Jing is an increadibly steady DPS luminary here. Oberonnie is very useful whenever you encounter multiple assassins, and that is almost always so she is a staple here in your team. Chiron works amazing in dispelling debuffs that can be so annoying to deal with with this team. Azure Dragon is always really useful for protection on the field. Vivian works well for the damage boost here.

Pompey as tanking luminary does more than a good job in this team. Ifrit deals absolutely enough damage that you want to have her. Atanith is amazing for skill interruption of enemies. Herman has a lot of interruption and control to make her fit in here well. Vivian is a perfect damage booster. Nemesis can silence enemies.

Orion is so strong in interrupting by stunning and blocking heal, she is such a great help here for the team. Vivian is a perfect damage booster. Nemesis can silence enemies.

This lineup here is great for progressing through the game with several replacements in case you encounter specific setups
Athena as your first SSR Ex pull or from shards makes a massive difference here, even at 1 copy and should immediately replace whatever guard you use. Gabriele deals massive damage alongside Athena after she grouped the enemies up. They two will do 90% of the tanking and DPS together. Chiron is as healer pretty nice here unless you have Vivian well-built. The advantage is that she has the Sanctm synergy that makes her excel a little bit more in this team than she normally would. Lorilin is a solid enough DPS archer but with the sanctum synergy works actually well enough espcially with the grouping Athena provides + on top has great interruption effect. Vivian is an amazing buffer and heals and supports as well and works extremely well in this team, even more than in other teams. Gullveig is here for the aoe heal block primarily that is getting so important the further you get.

Helveil is a great tank and has tenacity to keep it up for the rest. Jing delivers steady DPS. Azure Dragon always good with the protection for the team. Caligula has very useful damage reduction. Anubis helps countering double-assassin setups. Gullveig has useful AoE healing that is well-needed here.
Possible Substitutions
Gabriele if you need more burst. Hades if you can use the interrupt. Cleopatra has her last word that can come in super handy if you get stuck against a comp. â -.

Anubis helps countering double-assassin setups and is just overall a good frontline here. Loki counters enemy resurrection that just sometimes can be such a problem and overall ties the team together well with the synergy. Spimo is along Loki just the core of the summon build here. Hades with her DPS output and interrupt abilities is just amazing in this team synergy. Asmodeus strenghtens the summons of Loki with Spimo and also offtanks, semi-dps and heals so the full package here you want. Azure Dragon is so important here with her general slot protection for you core to not get overwhelmed quickly.

Helveil is a great tank and has tenacity to keep it up for the rest. Gabriele if you need more burst. Hades if you can use the interrupt. â -.
