The Best Classes & Class Builds in Tarisland

Classes in Tarisland are a broad topic for multiple reasons – first, obviously, they are quite a commitment to a playstyle but also it takes a very long time to really build your character. On top of that, every class can have different builds so some classes can be build as healers or damage dealers and others as damage dealers or healers. And on top of that some classes do really well for playing solo but will strugle in team modes or some will be hard to get started and grow in viablility later in the game… I could go on and on and the reality is, little do players know when they have to make that selection.

For that reason I have here a constantly updated list that shows you in general how a class performs in the different modes for their different builds + also how hard they are to get started. Of course there is no single best class in Tarisland but some classes might lead you more into a dead end than others if you don’t know what you’re getting yourself into and this is what this guide here is all about.

What Class Should You Select in Tarisland?

Well, ideally one that fits your playstyle that you’re looking for and one that works later in the modes you like. If you are a player who doesn’t care too much about team content and love to play PvP solo you want a class that reflect that and vice versa, right? Bard - DPS

Good damage all the way through + buffs your team. Can also do content solo.

Away from the fact that not many players actually want to play this class build, it is really good and required for so many modes. If you chose it you will always be welcome in every team basically although the solo playing fun is quite lackluster.

Amazing damage and quite easy to play and does well everywhere.

Good damage overall and fairly easy to play when it comes to skill cycles, you also have the Keen buff which every team can use so this puts you in a great position for all content now and in the future.

Barbarian Fighter - Tank

Not as easy to play as other tanks but for sure the tank class that can also deal good damage and mitigate a lot of damage with shielding. Super versatile if you're willing to .

Shadow Swordsman

A+

Super high damage and fun to play and shines in that - but in modes where it is about team there is little this class contributes other than raw DPS output.

Paladin - DPS

A+

Has stuns for PvP but misses some of the cool fun parts of a class like the Barbarian Fighter. Overall a arounded class build with solid crowd control and solid damage.

Paladin - Tank

A+

Great for all PvE content but in PvP you will see a clear difference to a class like the Barbarian Fighter tank build.

Insane AoE healing that is great everywhere in in pretty much all modes and always needed..

Interestingly enough really strong burst damage and great buffs makes this class build extremely versatile and strong.

Phantom Necro - Healer

A

Strong single-target healer, particularly great in PvP.

Good buff and decent damage but in terms of raw damage falls off. Has the spin for mobs but overall not the top damage class and a little in between roles here.

Great AoE damage for sure and all modes and content in Tarisland that favor that will be easy-peasy with this class - but PvP and and certain parts where it is not about groups of mobs will be really annoying.
