Breeding Guide in Age of Empires Mobile – Short & Important Info

Forget all the extensive breeding guides forAge of EmpiresMobile out there, I have barely seen one that will make a solid point on breeding with the important info you need so I figured, why not write one with the important points instead of one that claims to be the most comprehensive.

The most important things first here:

• Breeding is a LOOOOOOONG process of weeks and months. Do not assume you can breed quickly!
• Breeding takes a lot of attempts to get the mounts you want and preparation is key here – create your blueprint horses now! Base blue mounts with the right temprament and skills are far more important than higher rarity mounts with poor skills

How To Breed

Okay this is a step-by-step guide and each step will probably take you quite a while (don’t shoot the messenger, I didn’t develop the breeding feature, I just give you the cold hard facts)…

Step 0 – Your Mindset

Understand that everything about breeding is random. There is nothing guarantueed at all. Be read to repeat breeding so many times that you can’t stand the screen anymore.

Step 1 – Prep Your Account

You will first, before anything else, need blue rarity mounts with nothing else then traits. You need TWO of each (Fearless, Alert, Warbred…. ) because you will use them to create your blueprints. You will bread them with each other over and over to get copies that have the stats and skills. The reason for this is that breeding mounts with the same temperament will strengthen their bloodline so it means lower chances of getting wild mixes of skills later on.

Step 2 – Your Blueprints

Now that you have plain blue rarity mounts with all the different temperaments (two of each), you start breeding them with each other. NEVER MIX TEMPERAMENTS as the chance that you get a decent mount is solicit is a waste of resources! Always breed the same temperament until you got a horses with useful and fitting traits and skills.

At this points you have done a lot of breeding already and once you have two horses with the same temperament and stats that are goodtogetper, you can start breeding them for higher rarity.

This will then take you through many repeating breeding until you get higher rarity mounts with traits you like and those are then used on your heroes.
