The Mage class offers a high damage ceiling with versatile elemental techniques and fun AoE builds that excel at clearing enemies. However, it is the squishest class in the game with minimal defensive layers and can struggle with low critical hit rates without specific gear or abilities.

FreezeLittle glass-cannon build but highest damage output on most situations so you can push through a lot without actually getting into the situations where the lack of survivability becomes an issue

Water to Ice ✚ Mana Surge ✚ Unstable Aura ✚ Elemental Mystery.
Great single target damage thanks to having so many different projectiles and damage instances that can cause synergy effects
Techniques (left side) and Charms (right side):
The ideal setup here for you is:
Tempest Sphere ➡️ Winds Delight ➡️ Flame Jet ➡️ Water Shot.
Unstable Aura ✚ Mana Surge ✚ Elemental Mystery ✚ Gale Shield.
The crowd control here helps a ton against bosses and should be a build to swap in occasionally (espcially as you can tactically make bosses skip a turn with freeze which can change the outcome significantly)
