Best Build for Old Ahab in Sea of Conquest

There are a couple of things to mind when building Old Ahab in Sea of Conquest to work well in your formations, what ship parts to use, what ships to use with, what stats you need on your ship parts and also what other heroes to pair with.

Unless you want to spend endless amounts of Pipes into upgrading skills, I recommend for most players to carefully upgrade skills in Sea of Conquest as some skills are more important than others or require other skills to be upgraded before them. Shield

My recommended strategy for Old Ahap to invest the Master Pipes would be to stretegically spend on his skills that make him better as the sturdy Flagship Captain he is designed to be. Some of his skills have benefits for his allied ships in your formation, which is nice, but they also work on stock well against chip damage. If you're into building him max it is not mistake either, all I am strategizing here is to invest as little Master Pipes as possible to still make him work great.

Cordelia heals while Old Ahab shield and make a great synergy on your Flagship that is supposed to be as sturdy as possible (See full build here).

Magnus is the perfect gunner for your defensive flagship if you have access to VIP13 (See full build here).

Obi can help pull damage from your fleet which Ahab helps shielding to make a good defensive flagship (See full build here).

Cursed Ed is an amazing support and debuffer although their direct synergy isn’t the craziest, they work well together on your Flagship and constantly debuff the enemy (See full build here).

Madame Lulu is like Cordelia a healer and can also work well with Old Ahab on your Flagship (See full build here).

Armstrong not only reduces damage taken so already a great fit with Old Ahab shielding, he also pulls aggro which you want with a hero like Old Ahab that shields (See full build here).

Jango generates more rage so Old Ahab can use his active skill to shield more frequently (See full build here).

Best Ship Parts

Ship Parts in Sea of Conquest belong to different sets and have random stats on them and although you equip them on your ships, they need to compliment the heroes you*re using. So, when runngin Old Ahab these are the sets you should aim for:

Shelter o' YamataBest

Sovereign o' the SeaAlternative/Backup

But there is more you have to mind! Every Ship Part, depending on the rarity, will get several attributes that are randomly assigned when collecting it – and they are so important and just the right set means nothing without the fitting stats on it. Before you upgrade ANY ship part, make sure to check here if it has stats that fit:

HPHP is the most important stat here so make sure your ship parts are not fiting for the set bonus but also their main stat (yellow first one) is that.
