Picking your heroes in Wittle Defender can be a bit tricky at times and once you left the early stages you will also see that you have to prioritize your investments in your heroes a lot more due to the lack of resources available – and we want to help you do exactly that by showing you how well each hero performs in Wittle Defender.
Best Heroes in Wittle Defender – How?
Well, you always need heroes that deal area damage for the waves and single damage against bosses – you can’t beat a stage in Wittle Defender without one or the other. Some heroes do that better than others and some are purely in your squad to enable th chain links. We tested all heroes to give you a real ranking who is hot and who is not.
Added first impression on the new Yeno hero Wun Wukong who, again, pushes the limits of what a hero can do.
Please also don’t forget to take a look at our new guides about team building and lineups in Wittle Defender here, there some nice ready-to-be-used teams in there as well.

When will this be updated to include Starlight Weaver?
is in there now, needed to confirm how op she is before updating the list.
I think Night Baron is the best boss DPSer in the game. He’s casually putting up 30-50mil damage at level 34. His upgrades have a chance to scale his attack, so he just chews up bosses when upgraded early.
I don’t understand why your comment on Fiery Vanguard Kilonek is full of discouragement, because he is far better than Lark with team work, and suprisingly he pushed my team go all the way up to higher floors and stages.
Thanks for you comment, I really appreciate you taking the time to draw out your perspective. Did you use a full fire team by any chance? If so, yes, he is good. I think my narrative came accross a little harsh here since there was so much hype/antihype created (I won’t use certain content creator names) that I felt I wanted to put some perspective out there before people spend real money on a hero they MIGHT not need if they already went the ful wind or lightning route.
