It’s almost here and since we played the open beta we can already give you valuable tips about what heroes will be good in Avatar Realms Collide. The way heroes work (together) has quite some new elements here in this game and we wanted to help you fight the feeling of being overwhelmed by giving you an overview which heroes are worth investing in and which ones will only carry you a short part of your journey.
What Benders/Heroes Are Good in Avatar Realms Collide?
Below you will find the heroes in the game sorted by their element and then there you will find them ranked with a short description what their role is and a ling to their ideal build

Air Bender
Here are the air bender heroes in Avatar Realms Collide
Tier SDoes work with pretty much all heroes and is the strongest air bender hero in the game now.
Tier A+Pretty nice but struggles quite a lot in getting his kit to really play out strong and I think his potential is rather in the future with more heroes beaing introduced.
Tier APrimarily a siege hero and that is not something every player uses. Can be used for just mobility in a pairing but honestly that is such an invest for just that, I just don't think he is a good fit for most players at this point.
Tier AYes, first impression is that he is THE hero but since you can unlock him quite easily through the campaign mission and buy the shards there continously, he is more stable balanced. Not a bad hero and for sure for F2P a pick to have. He has a bit of all so he can also later be combined easily with many other heroes.
Tier CEven for an epic hero not really that great and you will soon find better replacements.
Tier CSurprisingly weak for an epic hero and I don't know if that's because of missing synergies or there will be something in the future but right now just not a good hero to use and build in Avatar Realms Collide.
Tier DSame as all rare heroes, just not viable long-term and only suitable for gathering.
Earth Bender
Here are the earth bender heroes in Avatar Realms Collide
Tier S+The strongest earth bender hero in Avatar Realms Collide right now but primarily due to the reason that the strongest two, Kuvire and Lin will be released in the future. Your choice if you want to jump the gun here but with her increases all damage (basic and skill) and reducing enemy HP temporarily, she seems pretty future-proof to me.
Tier SCrazy accelerator with base buffs that almost all heroes can make use of and a built-in rage engine that makes the paired heroes skills pop faster.
Tier A+She is really strong in what she does, but why not ranked higher here? Well, the reason is that she is specialized in siege and garrison so parts of her kit are built to be used be the top players on the server. She is not a hero for everyone but for those who are building her and using her for the role she is designed for, she is incredible strong.
Tier B+Very siege-oriented hero that most players probably won't really make great use of.
Tier B+For sure the most long-term oriented, versatile and strongest epic heroes in Avatar Realms Collide.
Tier BBefore everybody is out for blood here because of my ranking of such a popular character that also happen to be a free legendary please hear me out... he is free but leveling him is not and at the end of the day, as much as we all love the character Cai itself in the IP, he is a gathering hero and you should not go out of your way in building a gathering hero. He is amazing in gathering, no question about that, but he will not work anywhere else and please do not believe the few odd guides out there that say that he is as support hero amazing to pair secondary with xyz. He deals basically no damage and all the rest of his skills are only about gathering more and faster.
Tier C+Use her gradually as support hero, espcially in garrison she does that role very well.
Tier CKind-of-a siege kit but also the rest of him including scalers and rarity is not suited for doing that so hoenstly unless you do some early server siege with him I don't see all too much usage.
Tier DSame as all rare heroes, just not viable long-term and only suitable for gathering.
Fire Bender
Here are the fire bender heroes in Avatar Realms Collide
Tier S+Absolutely the strongest fire realm hero in the game with a lot of damage and also buffs for the troops. Also that makes him easy to be combined.
Tier SShe is a damage powerhouse with built-in rage engine that every enemy will be afraid of.
Tier SIncredibly strong due to his enemy HP reduction and not just only useful for garrison defense.
Tier B+Overall dynamic and good but as epi hero not a long-term hero to use since the plain scalers can't keep up with the legandaries but strong early on so build her and pair her up and you will have a solid pairing here for quite a while.
Tier C+As an epic hero quite alright but towards later simply can't keep up with the legandaries and since one of his skills is absolutely only about fighting the Shattered Skulls, you can tell that he is not a hero for the very tops.
Tier DSame as all rare heroes, just not viable long-term and only suitable for gathering.
Water Bender
Here are the water bender heroes in Avatar Realms Collide
Tier S+Absolutely wild hero that elevates your own damage, reduces the targets damage but also delivers constant rage and deducts rage of the enemy so you can use your ultimate faster. There is a ton you can do with him and since he scales on percentage and is universally good, I am sure you will be able to combine him well with any other water hero to come in the future.
Tier SAvailable for Unity Day event and he is actually absolutely worth it and give water yet another good option.
Tier A+Basically legendary Katara but very support/defense heavy and for most players not really a hero needed honestly.
Tier AMore a hunt hero than anything else and altough you can potentially make somenicepairings here, the fact that he is hunting PvE shouldn't put him high on your list but since he is availabel through Daily Shop and TGL, he can be build decently easily.
Tier AThe healing and need to be paired with a hero that enhances regular attacks limit her overall capabilities by a lot honestly. Might change later on when more heroes get released but at the very start point where we are in Avatar Realms Collide, she is not that rocking as other heroes from other elements.
Tier B+Decent debuffing and a universal rage engine make him fit well with a lot of heroes. He himself is not that strong and he needs some invest to make his rage benefits run, but then he actually can do some decent things with strong heroes paired upp with him.
Tier CYou get her when starting with the Air Benders and she is alright early, espcially for farming PvE on the map but not really that useful later on. Also she lacks some good pairings with her kit so do not invest an universal resources into her at this point and onlyupgrade with what you get.
Tier DLow rarity and overall not very useful. You will swap her out after a couple days into the game.
Conclusion
