A first ever team up between mobile title Resident Evil Survival Unit, published by Aniplex and co-developed with JOYCITY, and Monster Hunter has just launched, and you should be very excited indeed.
The limited time event started on July 2nd and runs until July 29th 2026, and sees a heap of exclusive rewards being up for grabs. Let’s dive into the details shall we?
A team up for the ages

As you’d expect the event gives you the chance to experience the worlds of both games anytime thanks to the mobile nature of Resident Evil Survival Unit.
It introduces a co-op experience which allows you to take on Monster Hunter monsters with friends.
You’ll face a host of recognisable monsters from the Monster Hunter universe, such as Yian Kut-Ku and Rathalos. There are Heroes exclusive to the collab too that will help out and join the fight.
Rewards aplenty
A line of in-game events and rewards will be available across July as well. One of the highlights is an event inspired by the meat-grilling gameplay part of Monster Hunter where you hunt monsters, collect their meat and grill it to gain rewards.
You can also grab a line of exclusive skins as part of the collab, allowing you to tweak the appearance of your in-game base and squads on the field and give them more of a Monster Hunter flavour.
This only really touches on the treats available as part of this team up though, and we’d strongly recommend diving in to check it out yourself as soon as possible.
