Best Gear for Ellic

Early Game, the HP Set is the best option until you get access to better equipment sets.
Mid-Game, the Hardening is the better choice as the stats are simply contributing better to Ellic’s overall kit.
Late Gameyou should really focus on equipping Ellic with Tough Set items to make to get the best performance.
