Disney’s Pixel RPG is finally here and there are quite some interesting twists from other gacha games so if you thought this is just a re-skin you want to check twice since this game does a lot of things differently.
To help you see what characters are worth leveling and using, we decided to make a ranked list with some info why characters are good, bad or when they become useful in Disney’s Pixel RPG.
What Characters Are Actually Good in Disney’s Pixel RPG?!

Tier S+Incredible AoE damage that normally wipes through enemy lines and once LB, she also does DEF debuff so every enemy survivor is sniped down easily by the rest of your team. Incredibly powerful character.
Tier S+Yellow Strike shines in campaign right now and he is a strong damage dealer.
Tier SThe paralyze is so valuable and once LB him you get skill lock as well, making him the best crowd control character in Disney Pixel RPG.
Tier SDamage like Malificent but she doesn't have DEF reduction but ATK reduction so not as effective but still a strong AoE damage dealer.
Tier SHe is a Green Striker so this is where he shines, but also as regular single-target damage character working quite well.
Tier SSimilar to Peter Pan overall. Shines most when LB.
Tier SDeals massive damage to single targets and can do a lot.
Tier SBest healer in the game and can also LB to counter cc effects.
Amazing buffer for offense.
Tier SBest buffer in Disney Pixel RPG, there are no two opinions baout that.
Tier A+Great healing, actually the most healing of all characters, but no other traits like cc immunity and cure si I appreciate Rapunzel more.
Tier A+A really good buffer although Genie is stronger overall.
Tier A+Really cool buffer but needs LB to really be good.
Tier A+Extremly useful with the taunt and damage reduction and for sure the best bronze character in Disney Pixel RPG. Level and you will have a lot of use for him.
Tier AGood damage deale rbut since Blue Striker isn't that powerful right now a tad less needed than other characters (will probably change in the future.
Tier AGreat buffer with regeneration, espcially when you LB.
Tier AActually quite good for the buff that is always good (ATK and DEF, so always useful) and once you LB her, she also adds regeneration for 3 turns, which makes her universally a useful character in Disney Pixel RPG.
She has a great kit but since she is a free vent character her base stats are bad so she is not that great at the end of the day.
Tier B+The healing is alright but she is amazing ins tages where you have enemies that apply the poison effect that will tick your heroes down a lot once they are continously applied. Overall, not the best healer but having her at a decent-ish level to swap her in once you encounter one of the stages that has a lot of poison, you will highly appreciate her! She is not ranked higher since she can't be your main healer later and not all stages have the poison effect.
Tier B+healing is alright but the stun counter is really helpful if you need it. Will have niche role uses even late game so keep him at a decent level to use him whenever you need to counter stun setups.
Tier B+Evasion is useful and having SP Up as well give him some uses in certain teams.
Tier BTouch rank here since he is only good for the Red Striker ability which doesn't affect too much right now in teh state of the game and otherwise his damage is not there. So, onless you need the red striker synergy in your team, he is not that great but I don't want to rank him super low since I believe in the future he will gain some traction once the color counter will come more into affect.
Tier BSame as Carnival Dale, rarity is not high enough that he can do much outside his Yellow Striker bonus and that is not needed that much.
Tier BOnly useful if you want to build certain team setups where you need the extra SP. Not universally a very useful character.
Tier BGood earlier game healer but LB effect is not that much needed. I mean he wont carry but later he will fall off and Minnie Mouse with the ure poison is a lot more valuable.
Tier BAlternative tank for Warrior Goofy and useful earlier in the game but she lacks long-term the stats to be viable enough in that role so not too interesting since you have to replace her in her role later, no matter how well you built her.
Tier BDamage is alright and when you LB you can get paralyze. If you are super lucky in gacha and get the LB early on, great, but otherwise I recommend focus on Special Agent Nick who can do that without LB.
Tier C+Actually alright but also not great or unique in any kind of way and there are better characters in Disney Piel RPG that can do the same.
Tier C+Actually the area damage is okay-ish early but as soon as you hit the hard stages the damage is not working anymore and there are better AoE damage dealers in Disney Pixel RPG so save yourself the trouble or level him up only as much as needed to save resources.
Tier C+I am no fan honestly. The damage is alright with the rarity but the ATK Down debuff is not that often use and there are so many other character who can do that along being more effective.
Tier C+Nice for the paralyze when LB him but honestly that is already too much effort spent for what he is.
Tier CThe damage is not great although his activation cost is quite low. Still, not really good in anything and later on he is just not usable anymore, even maxed.
Tier CCan off-tank with the evasion but is not great in any of the roles you use him.
Tier CNot that great of a buffer and need LB to be as good as other characters are without LB. You can scip him probably without ever missing him.
Conclusion

I really wish they made Donald the tank or melee fighter rather than a ranged archer. It’s like they don’t understand Donald’s abilities or personality at all. He’s a brawler. Why do 3rd party game developers keep trying to make him ranged? He’s a tank or melee.
