You might know us from our CSR2 guides and CSR3 is honestly a game that sucked me in more than even CSR2 did. The graphics and more strategic elements like road surface, wet conditions and turns make it incredibly fun.
What Cars Are Good in CSR Racing 3?
Here’s the thing, in CSR3 car focus classes are much more important as there is not just a straight line where your car acceleration, grip and speed makes the winner. Still, some cars excel in their classes while others are not that great and it would be a shame to promote and invest the parts and roughly 24 million cash to max out a car that is not that great, wouldn’t it? We play the game since the first tine in 2024 the game open beta was released and have been through all the stages and can tell you what car works and which ones are a little bit more special.
Drag Focus Class
Tier SReally good drag car with super acceleration and super speed and the grip to get that all on the road. Struggles a bit on rough roads.
Tier A+Actually a strong drag car but lacks a litle bit of top speed on the longer straight. But makes up for that with good grip and little wheelspin and even on more rough roads performant.
Tier A+A solid car and you get it from the drag ladder races pretty much for free in like the first week of playing. Solid car for drag races.
Tier A+Like the little brother of the Jesko. Balanced but not the best in any of acceleration, speed or grip.
Tier A+Honestly just like the free Ruffian Mustang you get. And since you get that for free early no reason to buy this here for Gold or invest anything since it is not the top-of-the-line drag car you might think it is.
Tier A+You get it for free in the story mode and will be your daily drag racer but lacks a little bit of acceleration on the short sprints. Not bad and for free a solid one, just would think twice how much investment it gets to promote and upgrade.
Tier AToo hyped in the forums for what it is and with the free epics you get not too relevant. Highlight is the grip that makes it reliable without wheelspin but other than that just an average drag class car.
Tier AWould be good and even in corners not too bad for a drag car but the grip is low, super low and that is not a lot of fun with this car.
Tier AIn the bigger picture not an interesting car since you get basically two epic drag cars int he first days that are better than this one here so do not spend gold to unlock.
Tier B+Slow, not a lot of grip and with so many better options not a car you want to invest in unless you really have to.
Tier B+A lot of wheelspin gives it a rough time honestly.
Tier B+In all means the same as the M2 and the Scat Pack Challenger.
Tier B+Exactly the same as the GR Supra.
Sports Focus Class
Tier S+Honestly probably one of the most complete cars in the game, good everywhere. Solid acceleration, grip and speed make it s super allrounder early in the game with high potential later unless you need a specilized car to do a certain track. For sure worth picking up in the shop.
Tier SAbsolutely crushes on tracks where you have ideally multiple corners and no long straights. The top speed is low for a legandary and the ride will also give you a hard time on some tracks. Like a precision tool for the tracks it is designed for but for most players not too useful overall.
Tier SGood car, espcially early on. Has issues on long straights but the acceleration makes up a lot especially with the high grip you can fire that NOS in there without fearing wheelspin too much.
Tier SOverall great car but struggles a bit whenever road conditions aren't too great.
Tier A+The most balanced rare sports care here. Not the best speed but not as lackluster in speed as even some epics.
Tier A+The tats make it look better than it is and the high grip is often useless. Good acceleration but slow on straights. Super slow. Unless you rock a track that want grip and has a lot of turns, this car will send you right into therapy.
Tier AGood car unless you have some rough streets or straights that are medium or longer. Other than that this car will be a solid filler but no main carry.
Tier ACloaks a lot of its weakness when you unlock it through the banner as you can get it to 3-Star quite fast. The reality is it lacks speed so heavily that every track with longer straights will become an issue when racing a opponent at a similar power rating. For the sake of the event and the rewards and as filler for some events useful but beyond that not a car to go broke for.
Tier B+Early on a stable car without much flaws. Yes, it lacks some speed but you can actually promote it fairly easily and then it can be a useful pick in many multi-stage races. I mean once your roaster gets more epics and promoted rares it will fall off though.
Tier BEasy to promote and that is fine but honestly not really good in anything and not a car you should prioritize that much.
Tier BSuper weak. Speed is a crime so anything beyond a short straight will take you down and also any rough street as well. Just a last resort filler, nothing else.
Street Focus Class
Tier SExcellent although alcks some top speed that on tracks with long straight can make it get more nasty than it needs to be but the grip and turn handling is so good that it is a weapon on pretty much all tracks.
Tier SSimilar to the F8 but with a little less grip although it has the top speed that helps where the F8 doesn't bring enough.
Tier SAmazing unless you have to deal with rough roads and with the grip can handle a lot of situations.
Tier SSurprisingly the top speed is not that great and even several epics are better but mainly the mediocre grip for the class and worst performance on rougher roads in the entire class make it less of a pick that you might want it to be.
Tier SOne of the best rare cars in the game as you have great grip and ride with solid speed and acceleration stats, so basically every track this car can be used, even in the less-frequently pocked rough road tracks the Carrera 4S is not that terrible as the first look might want to tell you.
Tier A+Lacks some top speed and could have faster turn handling but overall more than a solid street class car.
Tier ALacks corner performance and grip honestly to really keep up and be versatile where street cars are supposed to be versatile.
Tier B+Overall really good acceleration and speed for the rarity with one flaw which is as soon as roads get bumpy, it performs really poorly compared to other street class cars.
Tier B+Super slow top speed is costing this one here a lot.
Tier BSuper slow top speed is costing this one here a lot.
Tour Focus Class
Tier S+By far the best car of the class.
Tier A+Great acceleration makes it perform really well on all tracks with shorter straights and can take turns fast. Top speed can be a little bit of an issue but not too dramatic.
Tier A+For every situation where you need top speed, it is the MC20 veriation with that.
Tier A+Great acceleration and balanced as well with one big issue and that is the weird push towards the end of 5th gear so shorter tracks or sections are sometimes a little hard with it.
Tier A+Surprisingly strong thank to the high grip that makes a lot up in terms of acceleration, speed and cornering.
Tier ASurpsingly fast and accelerates well, too. Turn handling is also solid but it lacks grip so you need to put MOD parts with that on it or you will be slipping and sliding like crazy.
Tier B+The weakes rare in this class for me simply because it lacks top speed, handling rougher surface roads and also wheelspins a lot.
Tier BFor sure the best uncommon car in its class right now with absolutely stable performance everywhere. No major flaws but the rarity is just what it is.
Tier BSolid but not more than a filler.
Tier BSolid but not more than a filler.
Tier C+Do not get blinded by having it at a like 3-Star or 4-star if you pulled some copies with the DB12 crate as this will sugarcoat it a little bit more than it is. Starts slow with a lot of wheelspin until it has the power-push towards late in 4th gear. Most races you either have turns before that happens or the tarck runs out. If you got it with the DB12 crate level it for the season event and the rewards and it wil be fine but you won't use it past that as tour class fillter if needed.
Track Focus Class
Tier A+So good in turns and has that little surprisingly speed boost in higher gears that makes it such a great track car.
Tier A+Also really strong and very fast turn handling. Like all Porsche cars in CSR3 just a great option among its peers.
Tier AWould be better but the bad grip really eats away a lot of performance.
Tier AWould be better but the bad grip really eats away a lot of performance.
Tier ANot the best epic BUT has one big advantage and that is having frequently copies on the Live Racing Market so you can frequently pick up copies even as F2P and get it to 3-Star rather quick which helps carry through most of the story and other modes.
Tier B+Really good since you also get its copies in the marketplace frequently to get to 3-Star. Has the fastest acceleration and top speed of all rare cars in the track class and overall is just a car worth building.
Tier B+Falls a little short compared to the Camaro ZL1 but with Season 6 as banner car you can build it quite easily to 2-Star or 3-Star with solid rewards. Just don't go too far.
Tier B+The only disappointing Porsche in CSR3 so far although a solid car. Just the other rare cars here in the track class are better and the epic Porsches are superior.
Tier B+Personally my big disappointment here in this class primarily because of the lack of grip that makes it not get the power on the street properly.
Tier BAlright filler if you need it but nothing more.
Tier BAlright filler if you need it but nothing more.
Tier BSlowest car in the track class in evrey matter.
Conclusion
We hope this list helps you plan your car investments and help you build your roaster our for the future.
