I would prefer running Henry overall but if that&#8217;s your only option you will still get good results. <strong>Yi Sun-Sin (YSS)<\/strong> is more a backup secondary commander if the above are no option you have(for whatever reason) and I would not do it unless you have no other option.<\/p>\n<p>Find out more about the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.allclash.com\/best-commander-pairings-defense-rally-open-field-canyon-barbarians\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">most useful commander pairings here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h3>Best Equipment Forge Order<\/h3>\n<p>In terms of equipment, here\u2019s what I recommend to use as the route for Dido. I have tailored this priority order that you can follow step-by-step to prevent forging and running equipment that is not useful or only provides a very small improvement. Follow the equipment path step-by-step and you will have the best and most economical gear:<\/p>\n<div class='code-block code-block-4' style='margin: 8px auto; text-align: center; display: block; clear: both;'>\n<div data-aaad='true' data-aa-adunit='\/339474670\/AllClash\/InContent_4'><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n<div class=\"build-statbox statbox-basic\">\n\t<div class=\"statbox-item\">\n        <div class=\"statbox-item-icon\">\n            <img src=\"https:\/\/www.allclash.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/10\/rise-of-kingdoms-gear-chain-mail.jpg\" alt=\"Chain Mail\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" class=\"statbox-item-flag chain mail\">Chain Mail<\/span><span class=\"statbox-item-description\"> is super cheap to craft and gives some attack so it's the best first gear item to craft and equip<\/span>\n            <\/div><\/div>\n\t<\/div><div class=\"statbox-item-divider\"><\/div>\n\t\t<div class=\"statbox-item\">\n        <div class=\"statbox-item-icon\">\n            <img src=\"https:\/\/www.allclash.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/10\/rise-of-kingdoms-gear-sturdy-boots.jpg\" alt=\"Sturdy Boots\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-46986\" \/>\n        <\/div>\n        <div class=\"statbox-item-content\">\n            <div class=\"statbox-item-header\">\n                <span class=\"statbox-item-flag sturdy boots\">Sturdy Boots<\/span><span class=\"statbox-item-description\"> will give some defense and gathering speed which is not too exciting but they are also cheap to craft and give at least a few stats and should be your second gear item to equip<\/span>\n            <\/div><\/div>\n\t<\/div><div class=\"statbox-item-divider\"><\/div>\n\t\t<div class=\"statbox-item\">\n        <div class=\"statbox-item-icon\">\n            <img src=\"https:\/\/www.allclash.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/10\/rise-of-kingdoms-gear-helm-of-the-phoenix.jpg\" alt=\"Helm of the Phoenix\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-46986\" \/>\n        <\/div>\n        <div class=\"statbox-item-content\">\n            <div class=\"statbox-item-header\">\n                <span class=\"statbox-item-flag helm of the phoenix\">Helm of the Phoenix<\/span><span class=\"statbox-item-description\"> is the first green item to craft and equip and although the stats overall are not too impressive, at this early stage they still help and are a solid progress<\/span>\n            <\/div><\/div>\n\t<\/div><div class=\"statbox-item-divider\"><\/div>\n\t\t<div class=\"statbox-item\">\n        <div class=\"statbox-item-icon\">\n            <img src=\"https:\/\/www.allclash.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/10\/rise-of-kingdoms-gear-leather-gloves.jpg\" alt=\"Leather Gloves\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-46986\" \/>\n        <\/div>\n        <div class=\"statbox-item-content\">\n            <div class=\"statbox-item-header\">\n                <span class=\"statbox-item-flag leather gloves\">Leather Gloves<\/span><span class=\"statbox-item-description\"> gives some health which is always good (and I mentioned numerous times that health is the strongest stat in the game) so you can't go wrong now with this as your next gear item, espcially considering the low crafting costs<\/span>\n            <\/div><\/div>\n\t<\/div><div class=\"statbox-item-divider\"><\/div>\n\t\t<div class=\"statbox-item\">\n        <div class=\"statbox-item-icon\">\n            <img src=\"https:\/\/www.allclash.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/10\/rise-of-kingdoms-gear-ranger-trousers.jpg\" alt=\"Ranger Trousers\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-46986\" \/>\n        <\/div>\n        <div class=\"statbox-item-content\">\n            <div class=\"statbox-item-header\">\n                <span class=\"statbox-item-flag ranger trousers\">Ranger Trousers<\/span><span class=\"statbox-item-description\"> is also not too exciting but the only green piece that gives any stats to archers so take it<\/span>\n            <\/div><\/div>\n\t<\/div><div class=\"statbox-item-divider\"><\/div>\n\t\t<div class=\"statbox-item\">\n        <div class=\"statbox-item-icon\">\n            <img src=\"https:\/\/www.allclash.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/10\/rise-of-kingdoms-gear-blessed-blade.jpg\" alt=\"Blessed Blade\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-46986\" \/>\n        <\/div>\n        <div class=\"statbox-item-content\">\n            <div class=\"statbox-item-header\">\n                <span class=\"statbox-item-flag blessed blade\">Blessed Blade<\/span><span class=\"statbox-item-description\"> is the last open gear slot to equip and the reason why I recommend this last is that archers normally don't have a huge problem with attack and this item provides attack), they normally struglge more with durability in combats so this will make you deal more damage which is fine but doesn't help with any defensive stats at all - for that reason I recommend this gear item last here<\/span>\n            <\/div><\/div>\n\t<\/div><div class=\"statbox-item-divider\"><\/div>\n\t\t<div class=\"statbox-item\">\n        <div class=\"statbox-item-icon\">\n            <img src=\"https:\/\/www.allclash.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/10\/rise-of-kingdoms-gear-commanders-heavy-armor.jpg\" alt=\"Commanders Heavy Armor\" for sure as it is even worst for archer stats than the white gear piece you're having, so get the blue directly and save yourself some crafting resources and the health increase you get here is quite massive<\/span>\n            <\/div><\/div>\n\t<\/div><div class=\"statbox-item-divider\"><\/div>\n\t\t<div class=\"statbox-item\">\n        <div class=\"statbox-item-icon\">\n            <img with the anti-swarm skill that deals direct damage when attacked.<strong>Horn of Fury<\/strong>  or Vengeance are the other good choices. Horn lets you cycle through the skill faster, what I really like as you get the skill damage taken by your troops for 5 seconds. The quicker you keep that rolling the moreuptime this protection has. Vengeance helps to punish getting swarmed, but I feel that henry paired with the right secondary commander can deal with that already quite well.<\/p>\n<h3>Best Builds For Dido<\/h3>\n<p>Below you will find the talent tree builds for Dido that make sense when running as the primary commander in any march in Rise of Kingdoms. Please also refer to the description below each talent tree as I explain a general route on how you should spend your talents there + some additional background for each talent build that I very likely will appreciate.<div class='code-block code-block-7' style='margin: 8px auto; text-align: center; display: block; clear: both;'>\n<div data-aaad='true' data-aa-adunit='\/339474670\/AllClash\/InContent_7'><\/div><\/div>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-15727 ezlazyloaded\" src=\"https:\/\/www.allclash.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/06\/rok-dido-best-garrison-talent-build.jpg\">The only talent build that makes with Dido as your defensive captain ifor garrison or your city is this one here &#8211; there&#8217;s literally no other case where you want to run her as primary commander than as garrison captain.And as you would only do that with her maxed out or upgraded very far there is no talent point order that I recommend &#8211; simply get her sweet garrion tree points into Impregnable and Impenetrable Fortifications for a nice reduction in damage you take along her skills. Then get Emergency protection and Rejuvenate as this will let you cycle through her active skill mroe that deals grat damage but also debuffs rallies armies attacking whatever she defends.
