War Base: just in time for upcoming CWL I have this war base here for that is technically a Anti-3-Star base but you can also use it perfectly fine for the upcoming CWL season at TH12. Solid compartment design, great pathing and everything else you can expect from a war base here on AllClash.
Trophy Base: this trophy base is inspired by recent war bases but with some adaptions to make it an actual trophy base. I really like how this abse performed in my latest tests and attackers failed miserably against it as most attacker obviously have problems adapting to fresh structures.
Farming Base: this farming base uses smart spreading of storages to prevent that the attacker can get them without going for the 3-Star. The Dark ELixir collector is protected in the core to give it maximum protection and everything else is designed to keep the attacker away from your resources.

War Base: This war base uses all meta defensive mechanisms there are right now at TH12 to keep your stars protected as well as possible in your next war.
Trophy Base: I normally don’t brag, but this base here could be my latest masterpiece (or I was super lucky running it against real opponents in Legend League), it just worked so well that I barely could believe it. The dead zones, the compartment structure, everything just comes together in this base!
Farming Base: With this base you see a kind-of-ring-base approach but the ring is not open but more like compartments that make funneling troops harder – and most importantly – give your storages better protection and save you some loot in the long run.

War Base: I did test a lot with the new Super Troops lately and I still find them too squishy to actually see them in the meta of defending cc troops. Stick to Super Minions and head Hunter until they get something like a balancing update.
Trophy Base: The offset Town Hall looks more like a war base but it does work really well defending your trophies at TH12 by forcing the attacker to take a weird line through the Eagle Artillery that will miss him the core and a lot of percentage.
Farming Base: With this farming base you have a different approach on TH12 than you would normally use, with pathways towards the middle, oben compartment with the Town Hall and the storages not all in the core, but it really worked well protecting resources in my tests when I did run this base.

With the latest addition of new Super Troops in the update, we will see in the next weeks how the cc meta shifts (if ever). I will spend more testing on them the next days and might adapt the cc troops above, until then just use the recommended cc troops.

War Base: I really loved how this performed in wars recently with the split zone and compartment design giving the attacker a hard time finding a useful path through the base.
Trophy Base: this trophy base for TH12 works well in Legend League and actually forces attacker to attack from 6 o’clock to go for the Eagle Artillery, but there’s an extra compartment that helps to distract troops and making funneling hard. The rin design then will point troops away from the core effectively.
Farming Base: switching the Town Hall out of the core and swapping with the Dark Elixir storage really boosted the resource protection capabilities of this base a lot, especially with the perimeter design in the wing corners that make funneling hard to send troops straight for the core.

War Base: this war base can also work well in CWL with a more centralized Town Hall that is not that much exposed as you see it in other Anti-3-Star bases. The attacker is basically forced to attack from the side that is protected most or he won’t be able to get anywhere near 3-Star and this worked really well in my last wars.
Trophy Base: this base here features a ring around the core with the Town Hall and a nice perimeter that makes funneling hard and the smart defense placement protects trophies really well when I tested this base.
Farming Base: this farming base for TH11 features 3 main “islands” in the corners with the Eagle Artillery in the center. This helps protecting resources as the attacker can’t get all storages easily and funneling into the center and out there is not really convenient.

War Base: this symmetrical base also works well for CWL with a more centralized Town Hall. The outside perimeter is really annoying to deal with and funneling troops into core through the top section where the Eagle Artillery is can also fail easily and blow up the whole attack.
Trophy Base: The large sections with plenty of empty space around the core area will give the attacker a hard time, especially when it comes to building a proper funnel to actually get the troops into the core.
Farming Base: this base here will give the attacker the choice to either attack from the right or the left side and the other side will normally stay protected because the attacker won’t make it through the whole base. Good layout for protecting your resources as well as some of your trophies at Town Hall 12.

With the big update last week we got the Super Minion and it looks promising to be used as a defending CC troop at Town Hall 12. I did some tests but I used the “classic” defending troops for this week’s base layouts to get deeper into it.

War Base: This war base has proven very solid lately in war and is really effective against current meta attacking strategies (as well a base can be against the current defense vs offense meta, though). You have a nice perimeter for distraction and messing with funneling, the dead tunnel on the inside and trap compartments that work well against hybrid attacks as well.
Farming Base: Here’s a hybrid layout for TH 12 that has the Eagle Artillery centralized and the Town Hall in a corner section. You won’t make successful defenses with 0 Stars with this layout, but it does protect your resources and the 3 Star isn’t that easy (unless you’re in Legendary League, but then you should rather take a Trophy Layout from below). The way the compartments are arranged make it harder to funnel troops directly through the core and the Eagle Artillery will be a huge pain here for the attacker.
