The Best TH10 War/Trophy/Farming Base Layouts (April 2024)

Town Hall 10 Bases – December 27th, 2021

War Base: a war base that is impossible to 3-Star for any other Town Hall 10 attacker if you have all defenses decently upgraded, use the recommended cc troops. There’s not a single attack in my tests that has been getting close to a 3-Star against it.

Trophy Base: this double-diamond-shaped base works really well against all common attacking strategies that you see that much at TH10 these days and can easily protect your trophies in Champions League and even in Titan league you will not see any problems.

Farming Base: this ring farming base has an empty layer between the core and the outside layer to make it even harder for attacking troops to break into the core and the other storages are well-spread around the base to prevent that the attacker can take them easily on the way to the core.

Town Hall 10 Bases – December 13th, 2021

War Base: in the first impression you might think this base doesn’t look strong but trust me, many attacker at Town Hall 10 failed here as the pathing and the way the traps and defenses are arranged will work well against popular attacking strategies.

Trophy Base: the open sections and the way this base is shaped will make it really hard for the attacker to go for the full base without having his army split into multiple parts. If you’re looking for a base that helps you push trophies (e.g. for the Champion League achievement) at Town Hall 10, this base works perfectly.

Farming Base: although the base looks pretty compact, it defends the core easily to prevent splash damage getting it down with the intersections in between, especially in terms of protecting the Dark Elixir Storage this works effectively. The other storages are a little more outside for two reasons… one is to slow attackers down on their way to the center and the other is that this prevents easy sniping and the attacker needs to go for the full 3-Star to get all storages.

Town Hall 10 Bases – November 29th, 2021

War Base: this war base is a nightmare to attack with the general wall-layout,t he way defenses are arranged and especially when the attacker uses one of the popular attacking strategies available he will have a really hard time and very likely needs a higher TH level attacker to go for the 3-Star in a final step – and that’s what you really want in war, right?

Trophy Base: although a very basic-looking ring base, I took carefully attention to make the pathing through the defenses and buildings as effective as possible to mess with the attacking troops and force the attacker to spend a lot of time and troops to build a proper funnel. If not, he will fail – he he does, he has still a hard time going for the core of your base – this base can work easily in Champions League with a decently-upgraded TH10 base.

Farming Base: with a lot os smaller compartments and the storages in the very core of the base, this farming base will protect your resources as much as possible and help you with all the expensive upgrades you’re looking at at Town Hall 10.

Town Hall 10 Bases – November 15th, 2021

War Base: this war base has basically two large sections that will force the attacker to really build a funnel or fail, especially when using the popular attacking strategies you see a lot at Town Hall 10 these days. Almost impossible for another TH10 attacker to 3-Star this base.

Trophy Base: quite dense-packed in the center but with a top section that will force the attacker to start the attack there and funneling the troops to the outside, this base won’t give away the trophies easily and will help you if you want to move to a higher league.

Farming Base: with the Town Hall a little offset and the way the compartments are designed, this farming base for Town Hall 10 will protect as many storages and resources as possible without inviting the attacker to go all-in and go for the 3-Star.

Town Hall 10 Bases – November 1st, 2021

War Base: this base uses some new defensive techniques that I tested and tried for quite some time now and it is extremely effective against the all war attacking strategies and I have not seen any TH10 attacker beating this base with 3-Stars at all.

Trophy Base: since the previous trophy base was more of a hybrid base, I decided to build a base that has the clear focus on defending trophies again and you can push quite far with it as it will hold up well against all popular attacking strategies you see at Town Hall 10 these days.

Farming Base: as requested a pure DArk Elixir defense base for those of you that need to farm the last drops of Dark Elixir before upgrading to max out those heroes. Please see the hybrid trophy base from last week if you also want to protect other resources as well.

Town Hall 10 Bases – October 18th, 2021

War Base: good lord I’m glad I didn’t need to mirror this base in recent war, it was unbeatable for any TH10 and even higher Town Halls failed. Works extremely effective and there’s no chance any standard attacking strategy can crush it.

Trophy Base: this time we have more like a hybrid base here with the storages more on the inside and the core is divided into multiple sections to make it harder for the attacker to get through it. You can use this base as an alternative base for the farming base next to it that is really heavy on Dark Elixir.

Farming Base: this farming base is a ring base but one that works really well. The Gold/Elixir is in the outer ring but separated to keep the attacker from getting all of it while the Dark Elixir Storage is in the very core to give it maximum protection.

Town Hall 10 Bases – October 4th, 2021

War Base: great Town Hall 10 war base with all defensive features that you can except to have right now. Almost impossible for an attacker of the same Town Hall to beat.

Trophy Base: large compartments with loads of space make it hard for the attacker to predict your traps and other surprises. Please mind, this is a full trophy base that you can also use for CWL but the stores are completely on the outside to give maximum protection but it’s not useful if you need a lot of resources to pay for upcoming upgrades on your TH10 base…

Farming Base: the centralized compartment guarded by the dead-zone compartments along with smart storage locations will make sure that the attacker won’t get your resources just like that, especially your Dark Elixir Storage. If you look for a layout that also guards other storages, check out the upcoming one that I will design to exactly do that.

Town Hall 10 Bases – September 20th, 2021

War Base: this war base hasn’t been 3-Stared by any TH10 attacker so far so I challenge you and can only recommend you to use it in your next war.

Trophy Base: this base is not necessarily a hybrid base but it doesn’t use the storages as pure bulkheads on the outside and will protect some resources so you can afford your armies during attacks.

Farming Base: the previous farming base was purely about protecting Dark Elixir, so I decided to make one here that also protects normal Elixir and Gold as well. here we go.

Town Hall 10 Bases – September 6th, 2021

War Base: great war base with some surprise elements when it comes to adjusting troop pathing in the core that caused more than one failed attack in the recent war where I fine-tuned and tested this new base layout.

Trophy Base: multiple small compartments make this design a nightmare in funneling where many attackers have problems, especially when they do their no-brain checklist standard attacks you see so much at Town Hall 10.

Farming Base: the dead zone compartments, even when they’re small, help a lot in keeping the attacking troops away from the core where the Dark ELixir Storage is well-protected. The other storages are spread around the base to prevent that the attacker can get them without taking the whole base down.

Town Hall 10 Bases – August 23rd, 2021

War Base: this TH10 war base made a TH12 attacker fail. Yes, the attack wasn’t that strong but normally you don’t stand a chance as TH10 in such a situation. All other attackers failed miserably so I’m sure you will have a lot of fun with it.

Trophy Base: with the Dark Elixir Storage in the center and the other storages exposed this is a trophy base but not “all-in-whatever” trophy base you would need to push through Titans League as TH10. Many people here requested that my trophy bases should be rather resource-protective than squeezing the very last trophy. If you think differently please let me know in the comments…

Farming Base: this farming base is perfect to protect your Dark Elixir in the very core but the other resources aren’t easy targets neither. They are spread around the base that the attacker can’t get all of them without taking the whole base down.

Town Hall 10 Bases – August 9th, 2021

War Base: the huge core is what makes this base look weak but perform well. Most times attacker think they can push through but forget that pathing, traps and also defensive power can make a lot happen that will change how their attack works.

Trophy Base: this trophy base is not exactly a hybrid base but the storages aren’t that exposed as you would expect it. I got several requests to not expose all the storages that much and as only a very small percentage of TH10’s really pushed to the top of the Titan League this was will still do a great job in Champions League.

Farming Base: the last Dark Elixir farming base became so popular here that I got many requests fro a new farming base that has a focus on protecting Dark Elixir and here it is. SImilar to the last one but with some tweaks here and there to make it even more effective.

Town Hall 10 Bases – July 26th, 2021

War Base: here’s a war base with s split core, basically dividing an attacking army into two unless the attacker plans the attack really carefully. I haven’t seen any TH10 attacker being able to 3-Star this base and it will take at least a TH12 to take care of it, that’s what you want.

Trophy Base: actually I wanted to design a farming base but in my tests I saw how well it will perform as a hybrid base so I made some adaptions and you can use this base in Champions League easily.

Farming Base: with the Dark Elixir Storage in the very core and the other storages on the outer ring, you have here a great farming base for TH10 if you want to protect your Dark Elixir. If you also intend to protect your Gold and regular Elixir, please use the previous farming base below.

War Base: here’s another really strong war base that will have your back covered in any upcoming war and force higher Town Halls to actually 3-Star it.

Trophy Base: using this trophy base will work, even if you aim for Titan League with the trapped Town Hall on the outside, the large dead zones in the inside areas and a smart way to mess with troop pathing will be all you need to have a very strong TH10 trophy base.

Farming Base: the perimeter of this base along with the way the compartments are designed, you will have a good time protecting your resources with the Dark Elixir Storage in the core along with the Town Hall.

Town Hall 10 Bases – May 17th, 2021

War Base: outstanding war base that held of really well against most attackers, even those higher than TH10 and gave the opponent clan quite a hard time to deal with.

Trophy Base: kind of hybrid, at least not exposing the storages all the way so you can at least save up some resources while pushing to a decent trophy range.

Farming Base: this farming base has the Dark Elixir Storage in the center while exposing the other storages at least to a certain degree. Please use the previous farming base if you’re looking for one that also protects Gold and regular Elixir.

Town Hall 10 Bases – May 10th, 2021

War Base: this war base has all the current meta attacking strategies covered and there was no way any attacker even got close to 3-Star. In the end, it took a Th12 to clear this base and this is exactly what you want, right?

Trophy Base: after the hybrid base last week, here we have a full trophy base again that has 100% focus on protecting your trophies as TH10 and you can run it in Champions League, even Titan League without problems.

Farming Base: this farming base will help you protect your resources quite well. Not only is the Dark Elixir Storage in the very core, the other storages are also hard to reach so you should be able to protect at least half the possible loot with it.

Town Hall 10 Bases – May 3rd, 2021

War Base: this war base held up well in my tests and no TH10 was able to 3-Star it, even some higher Town Hall attackers had trouble so it’s one you really want to use.

Trophy Base: this trophy base is more like a hybrid base with multiple ring layers and the storages are not completely exposed on the outside so you can still protect some loot as well.

Farming Base: although this farming base has the Dark Elixir in the very core, the other storages are also protected by spreading them smart so the attacker can’t reach them easily or get them on the path to the core.

Town Hall 10 Bases – April 26th, 2021

War Base: extremely tough war base and no other TH10 was able to get 3-Star against this base so far, not even close. Even higher Town Halls failed using spam techniques.

Trophy Base: this is a super-effective trophy pushing base and it focus on protecting your trophies like no other base out there. Many defensive mechanisms are from war bases and you can also use it for CWL.

Farming Base: this base is quite compact but uses very smart compartment structure along with defense placement to make it as tough as possible to steal many resources from you.

War Base: great war base that will give all attackers using the current attacking strategies a hard time. Especially those attackers spamming the popular attacks will not get a 3-Star here.

Trophy Base: this is more like a hybrid base with the Dark Elixir in the core to also give your resource protection some attention. If you’re looking for a 100% trophy base to push you should check out last week’s base.

Farming Base: this farming base has the Dark Elixir in the core and is designed specifically to protect your Dark Elixir.

Town Hall 10 Bases – February 8th, 2021

War Base: this war base is really great and was able to bind 7 attacks in a recent war, where finally a maxed TH12 needed to break it. Absolutely great and highly recommended.

Trophy Base: this trophy base is super aggressive when it comes to defending the 2-Star with the Town Hall and inner ring behind every line of defensive technique you can imagine. The open bottom and the multiple wall lines will give the attacker a really tough time.

Farming Base: this farming base is designed to defend all your resources, also Gold & Elixir by having it all quite on the inside while still not creating a “sweet spot” where the attacker can get everything easily.

Town Hall 10 Bases – February 1st, 2021

War Base: the compartments in this war base are designed to give the attacker a hard time and there was no TH10 attacker able to crack this base in 2 recent wars. Even higher Town Halls had close attacks.

Trophy Base: this compact trophy base is also a hybrid base (many wrote me and wanted a hybrid base so here it is)  that will also protect your resources up to a certain point. if you look for a 100% trophy base take a look at next week’s trophy base that will be really great for defending trophies.

Farming Base: this farming base is primarily designed to protect your Dark Elixir and the other storages are a little more on the outside and easier to reach. Still, it’s unlikely that the attacker will get all of them so unless you’re really short in Gold & regular Elixir you should give it a shot. Otherwise, next week’s farming base will focus on Gold/Elixir so watch out for it.

Town Hall 10 Bases – January 25th, 2021

War Base: a super classic war base that I have here for you, nothing outstanding or fancy but it really works and even some TH10+ attackers had problems dealing with it in 2 wars where I and some others tested the base.

Trophy Base: More like a hybrid base with the storages not that extremely exposed as you’ve seen it before with trophy bases. I gor multiple messages who wanted a hybrid base this week so here it is.

Farming Base: This base is designed to protect your Dark Elixir Storage at first priority so you will have some regular storages more on the outside. If you want to give Gold/Elixir protection a higher priority please check last week’s farming base below.

Town Hall 10 Bases – January 18th, 2021

War Base: I know this war base doesn’t look like much but it works really well. It just uses all defensive techniques it needs to have and defends, what else could you possibly expect?

Trophy Base: this trophy base for TH10 is a classical ring base but the Inferno Towers are in separate compartments connected to the core, giving it some more defensive boost in the core area. Other than that, does what it needs to do and that’s defending your trophies well.

Farming Base: this farming base is more compact but still uses very smart storage placement to make sure that attackers can’t get your resources easily with a dip attack.

Town Hall 10 Bases – January 11th, 2021

War Base: this classical war base has been defeated even attackers from Town Hall 11 and is a perfect rock against enemy approaches in your next clan war. Honestly, you won#t regret trying it out.

Trophy Base: this base here is less a pure trophy base, more like a hybrid base with the storages, especially the Dark Elixir Storage, inside of the base. Still, works really well protecting your trophies.

Farming Base: the way how Town Hall and Dark Elixir Storage are arranged in the core area, on the opposite side of each other, makes it really effective defending greedy attackers.

War Base: extremely well-working base that got our back in the last war very effectively. Nothing special, just basic defense built that works.

Trophy Base: this is one of the most interesting trophy base approaches for TH10 that you will try for quite some time, I can promise you that. The open space core along with the island perimeter around it will make it a challenge to attack, that much I can promise you.

Farming Base: very basic and clean base structure I have here with this farming base and it uses all up-to-date defensive mechanics you can expect at TH10 for a base that has to protect your loot.
