Upgrading cards in Clash Royale is expensive, I mean, REALLY expensive. If you want to max out a single card, common or legendary, you will need to invest 175.000 to 185.000 Gold.
For just one card?! 😱
And there’s a lot of cards you will need to upgrade and this will just ruin you… unless you will start farming Gold early and frequently in Clash Royale.
Luckily, I have here some nice strategies that you can use every day when playing and that will boost your daily income and let you keep up with the upgrade costs a little bit easier.
Farming Gold in Clash Royale…
First of all, there’s no super easy, over the night, not doing anything way to actually earn Gold in Clash Royale.
But there are several ways that will improve your income if you do it the right way.
I’m not starting this by telling you that you can get Gold by opening chests and doing a couple of battles every day… you already know that, right?
The best, fastest and easiest way to get a boost in gold or coins (whatever you want to call them) is by donating cards.
Sounds still too obvious? Well, there’s a strategy that will give you an additional 50.000 Gold per week every sunday and a lot more you can do to turn yourself into a Gold-Earning-Cash-Machine. 😎
There are two things you can do:
- Donating cards that you bought at the shop with a profit (I’ll tell you how)
- Make the Epic Sunday your private Gold-Day (you will love this one!)
Getting Gold From Donations With Cards You Bought From The Shop Cheaper
Amazing name for the strategy, right? 😂
This strategy works because you can buy the first cards in the shop cheaper than you will get rewarded by donating it to your clan mates.
Say whaaaaat?!? It’s working!
You can get 3 Rare Cards and 3 Common Cards from the shop as soon as new Cards get available. Simply because you will be able to make a profit from it:
- 3 Rare Cards = 120 Gold in total (20 + 40 + 60 Gold) = 40 Gold in average
- Donating a Rare Card = 50 Gold
- 3 Common Cards = 12 Gold in total (2 + 4 + 6 Gold) = 4 Gold in average
- Donating a Common Card = 5 Gold
Bottom line you can get more Gold from donating that card than what you’ve paid for it in the shop.
The only problem is, it’s a long-time strategy and you need to invest in cards before frequently before making a profit.
Do not just focus on getting the cards that are requested right now form your clan mates. You can only turn this strategy into a long-term success by buying the cards frequently and then donating them. You know you will make a profit but only if you will continue using it.
You will also donate the cards you got from chests in between that you haven’t payed anything for and in total you can get up to 950 Gold per day from it (10,650 per week)
Now here comes my favorite strategy!
Turn Epic Sunday Into Gold Sunday
Only on sundays, you’re able to donate and request epic cards from your and to your clan mates.
Now this is not that much but you can use the fact that the different time zones of the world can just extend your sunday to 2 days 😃
Just start joining with a clan in New Zealand and fill their requests, once your cooldown is over, you will start joining a clan in Hong Kong or the Philippines and fill their request again. Just travel with the time zones and search clans. My favorite route is New Zealand → Hong Kong → India → German → U.K → US East Coast → US West Coast.
I also find it helpful to filter for words like “req & leave” or “request” in the clan search, these are clans that will actively request cards.
In the end you will have donated a lot of epics (and most of them are cards you don’t use anyway, right?) and get 500 Gold for each one of those.
Unlike the above strategy, you can’t tunr epic cards from the shop into a profit because they cost 1,000 Gold in the shop but it’s still a viable strategy with all the unused epics you stockpile every week.
It’s like real life, if you don’t do anything you won’t get anything. 😆
But I think this is, looking at the profits, a really easy thing to do for the amount of more than 50.000 Gold every week plus what you will get out of your chests, enough to get yourself a shiny new legendary card from the shop.
