WE’ve been talking about troop deployment in a lot of context – when to deploy, what to deploy and so on, but we never talked about how to deploy physically. In this post I want to show you a technique how you can deploy troops much faster by tapping your screen right.
Finger technique for deploying troops in Clash of Clans
Normally it’s pretty simple – when you’re about to deploy a larger amount of the same troop (especially BAM, BARCH, Hog Riders etc.) you simply select the troops from your inventory and hold down your finger as long as needed until they’re all deployed.
You can see in the sample screenshot that this will create a quite long row of troops, which is often not very useful because you want your troops to enter the base as fast as possible. In that case I deployed 90 Barbarians with only holding my finger in my screen until they’ve been deployed.
The good thing is that you have a multi-touch device – that means your device can handle multiple touch input the same time and so does Clash of Clans work with it, too. The game itself has a sleep time when you hold down your finger of a given time, you can’t change that. But you can use more than one finger to deploy those troops:
Now simply tap as fast as you can with both fingers at the same time – this will deploy your troops much faster. To show you the difference I deployed Barbarians to almost the same moment when they destroyed the first building:
You can see that I deployed 30 more Barbarians at the same time and with a little practise – or even with using 3 fingers – I can go much faster.
I would recommend you to try it out on the Goblin Map – this will not make you lose attacks or more expensive troops until you have sharpened your skill. So apparently Clash of Clans is not only helping us to get better in tactical thinking, it will also improve our fine-motor skills 🙂
