You want to have the Gummy Dragon and search for ways how to breed it?
Well, most sources will tell you what dragons you need for parents – the problem: most of these dragons are not available just like that.
That’s why I decided to write this guide here to show you the best ways to breed a Gummy Dragon from the beginning (including how to get the parent dragons).
You will find the best ways (with the highest chances) to breed the Gummy Dragon here as well as one way to breed it with only parents that you can breed as well at the bottom – it takes longer but sometimes is the only way 🙂
Best Way To Breed Gummy Dragon
The easiest way to breed the Gummy Dragon is by combining a Double Electric + Nature or Double Nature + Electric Dragon. This will get you a Gummy Dragon in about 50% of the time.
The problem? The Double Nature and the Double Electric dragon was only available in 2014 in the anniversary event. So, if you got them back then you have an easy way to get the Gummy Dragon 🙂
Alternatively, you can also use Stressed Dragons as both parents, but this dragon was also only available in the Back to School event in 2015.
Alternative Breeding
So, if you don’t have the dragons above to breed the Gummy Dragon directly here’s the best way to still breed it:
Step 1) Breed Nature Dragon & Terra Dragon and have them at Level 4-9
Step 2) Now use them to breed a Tropical Dragon – this can take several attempts so don’t give up if you don’t get it the first try. Normally you get it in 2-3 breedings.
Step 3) Now breed an Electric Dragon & Flame Dragon and get both of them to Level 20+
Step 4) Now use them to breed a Hot Metal Dragon. Also here you’re not 100% guaranteed to get the Hot Metal Dragon in the first try but it shouldn’t be more than 2-3 breedings until you have it
Step 5) Now level up your Tropical Dragon and your Hot Flame Dragon to Level 4-9
Step 6) You’re now ready to breed the Gummy Dragon! Combine them and you will get a Gummy Dragon with about 10% chance, so you very likely need several attempts but that’s okay 🙂
This is the best way to get your Gummy Dragon in Dragon City without spending any Gems or relying on seasonal special dragons that you might now have.
