There are several ways how we get info about the next tour in Mario Kart Tour and I wanted to create this article here to gather them and discuss them with you – that can be either Sneak Peeks from Nintendo showing the next featured character or also game file renders of upcoming drivers or anything else.

Next Tour Leaks – Super Mario Kart Tour (September 9th – September 23rd)
Week #2
The Ranked Cup in the second week will be the Baby Mario Cup:
Thanks to leaked images in the game files we know what the spotlight pipe will be in the second week of the Super Mario Kart Tour:

Week #1
The upcoming tour will take us back to the good old SNES days with the Super Mario Kart Tour 😀
Looking at the picture we can also clearly see that we will get a new track which will be Rainbow Road in the Super Ninentendo edition, a classic.
Nintendo also leaked the two spotlight driver with a very retro design that we’re getting:
Next Tour Leaks – Summer Festival Tour Tour (August 24th – September 9th)
Week #2
The Ranked Cup in the second week will be the Lakitu Cup:

Week #1
Update! Yes, it a new Daisy skin that we’re getting… and the tour will be featured in Japan.
But there’s also more coming up to make up for this…
We’re getting a event where we will collect token by landing hits with bombs, these token will be exchangeable against rewards until the end of the event which sounds pretty nice and also great for those players out there that play a lot. More hits with bombs, more event token 🙂 This event will start in week 2!
The teaser for the upcoming tour is released and it’s going to be the “Summer Festival Tour” and with the Japanese Mario’s in front I assume we will see Tokio featured again. The interesting thing here is that there’s something in the background that clearly doesn’t belong to a current driver and has a glider, so this can be the upcoming driver.
Looks like there’s something more than just the fish and when looking at it I think it’s hair and it looks very much like Daisy, probably a new Daisy skin…
I hope to be able to bring you an update in the next days when this really is all about.
Next Tour Leaks – Cooking Tour (June 3rd – June 17th)
There’s not much known yet for the Cooking Tour, except the info in-game and that only shows a track that we all know.
It looks like we won’t get any new tracks and I’m also afraid to say that we probably get some new skins only like Cooking Mario.
I’ll update here as soon as we will see more info, very likely in the upcoming days before the Cooking Tour starts
Week #2
The Ranked Cup in the second week will be the Hammer Bro Cup
Thanks to leaked images in the game files we know what the spotlight pipe will be in the second week of the Cooking Tour and we will get two spotlight pipes like we had a few tours ago with the Gold Pipe as well!
The Spotlight Pipe #2 will feature Baby Daisy (Cherub) from the Valentine Tour and Shy Guy (Pastry Chef) from the Paris Tour as well as their Apple Kart and Macaron Kart and their glider as well. This is already some nice value.
In addition, there will be a Gold Pipe as well with only 50 pulls on Dry Bones (Gold), Dry Bowser (Gold) and Gold Koopa (Freerunning) as well as their Gold gliders and karts. Insane value here so save your Rubies!
There will also be featured offers as well for the two special karts and gliders as well in the second week:
Next Tour Leaks – Jungle Tour (May 20th – June 3rd)
Week #2
The Ranked Cup in the second week will be the Diddy Kong Cup
Thanks to leaked images in the game files we know what the spotlight pipe will be in the second week of the Jungle Tour:
We can see Dixie Kong (that is no surprise) and the new Offroader kart in the background and I think Flower Glider will be the third item and a super item, fitting the structure of the first spotlight with 2x High-End and 1x Super item.
Also there will be paid offers for the Banana Master kart and the Tropical Glider as well that you can get as offers with rubies:
Week #1
According to the game files the upcoming tour after the Flower Tour will be the Jungle Tour:
Next Tour Leaks – Flower Tour (May 6th – May 20th)
Thanks to leaked images in the game files we know what the spotlight pipe will be in the second week of Flower Tour:
It will be Monty Mole, Queen Bee kart and Heart Balloons as glider.

Next Tour Leaks – Trick Tour (April 22nd – April 22th)
Week #2
Thanks to leaked images in the game files we know what the spotlight pipe will be in the second week of Trick Tour:
We can see Builder Toad (that is no surprise) and the new mining cart kart in the background and I think Star Glider will be the thrid High-End featured item in this 100 pull pipe.
There will not be any additional special pipe like we’ve seen in the last tour and Dry Bones (Gold) as well as a new kart will be purchasable in a special offer:
Week #1
The next tour will be the Trick Tour and there are not many official info but looking at the official Japanese Twitter of Nintendo, there they say we will see a new character coming into the game
They also speak of “Extreme Tour” and “extreme races” and it’s hard to figure out what they mean, especially as the automated translation could lose something here – but I think it would be nice to see something new coming to the game and I will keep you updated here as soon as there are new info out there 🙂
Update! New characters will be Builder Toad and Builder Mario to honor the latest update to Super Mario Maker 2, so it’s basically an internal promotion tour instead of something real new coming.
Not sure if I’m happy but I would have loved to get either new driver or new tracks and maybe see a new place around the globe since Vancouver Tour…
Next Tour Leaks – Yoshi Tour (April 8th – May 6th)
Week #2
Thanks to leaked images in the game files we know that it will get quite interesting in the second week of Yoshi Tour.
If you think that Black Yoshi will be the spotlight driver I have to disappoint you – we will see the three new Birdo versions as the spotlight:
But here it gets interesting…
As the Gold Pass rewards are quite disappointing in Yoshi Tour I think Nintendo changes gears a little bit and has a second spotlight in the game files:
You can see that the 50 above is in a golden color so I assume this will be for Gold Pass players only and with 4 High-End drivers for 50 pulls the odds are quite nice – if you do have stockpiled some rubies you might want to save them up for that pipe to get a way better value, especially if you see that this tour is quite F2P friendly when it comes to drivers, according to my tier list.
But let’s go back to Black Yoshi… it looks like he will only be available in the special offer (or if you’re really lucky in pulling):
Week #1
Nintendo announced that the next tour will be the Yoshi Tour and, interestingly, they did only speak much about new courses or drivers so far.
Update! Nintendo released a teaser image that shows very likely the spotlight driver for the first week of the upcoming Yoshi Tour and it looks like it will be some kind of Spring Yoshi with a helmet:

Next Tour Leaks – Hammer Bro Tour (March 25th – April 8th)
Week #2
The spotlight pipe got leaked and here’s the teaser image:
It’s not a big surprise as we have 4 new characters in the Hammer Bro Tour and the other two are in the spotlight pipe for the first week.
It’s also quite safe to say that this spotlight pipe will also get 100 pulls (what I find pretty expensive for only 2 Super spotlight drivers).
Also, the next Ranked Cup in Week 2 seems to be Bowser Cup. Bowser Cup is not only two cups after the Ranked Cup of the first week and this is the pattern we see in every tour for the past months, it’s also featured in the announcement teaser picture that got leaked in the game files:
It also makes sense to have those two drivers in the spotlight as they will be very strong in the Ranked Cup (Waluigi Cup) and high on the Tier List of drivers that we update every week.
Week #1
Nintendo announced that the next tour will be the Hammer Bro Tour and, interestingly, they did only speak of new courses and challenges but not driver.
There’s also no hint of a new driver like we’ve seen in the recent tour announcements. Still, it’s hard to believe that there won’t be any new driver, karts or glider, especially since we saw Hammer Bro as a opponent in the last bonus challenge of the baby Rosalina Tour…
In the preview we also see that the new tracks will be Donut Plains, tracks that many of us have been hoping for 😀 I don’t want to get too hyped here but I think that Yoshi and Morton will be pretty strong drivers in this tour so if you have some additional coins and see them appearing in the shop you might think about getting some of them before the tour starts.
Update! As Nintendo already twitter that we can practice dodging hammers I think it’s safe to say that we will get Hammer Bro as the new character in the Hammer Bro Tour:

Tour Leaks – Baby Rosalina Tour (March 11th – March 25th)

The spotlight pipe got leaked and here’s the teaser image:
It will be a pipe with 50 pulls (like we’ve seen it with Baby Rosaline Detective in the first week of this tour) and it looks like we see Rosalina and Waluigi (Bus Driver) as the featured ones without any new kart or glider. This was also the case in Mario Bro. Tour in the second week.
It also makes sense to have those two drivers in the spotlight as they will be very strong in the Ranked Cup (Waluigi Cup) and high on the Tier List of drivers that we update every week.

As this tour will be named the “Baby Rosalina Tour”, I think it’s save to say that this sneak peek here will show a new skin for Baby Rosalina. I think it will be something directly tied to England or London since the track in the background looks extremely like the surrounding of London Tour previously…

Update! We now know that it’s baby Rosalina (Detective) and there is also more to that!
We can also see that Waluigi (Bis Driver) from the London Tour is in the background so I think we might see him appear in the spotlight during that tour as well.
There’s also a new kart that you can see in the image so let’s see what we all get in this tour 🙂
but the real thing here will come when you zoom in the image and put the focus on the magnifier that Baby Rosalina holds there…
Yes, it may look like a Green Shell at first glance, but in fact it’s a new character because you can clearly see some shoes there, right?
Let me reveal it to you, it’s a character that you know if you’re into Mario Kart and the one I mean is Hammer Bro 😀
Some people already leaked the renders in the game files that show Hammer Bro is inside Mario Kart Tour but he doesn’t seem to be a driver or we would see him in the driver list…
The only thing I can think of is that he might be maybe a giant driver for a bonus challenge and get added as a playable driver later.
Update! Yes, I invested all Quick Tickets because I do need to create our driver Tier List anyway and Hammer Bro is the Giant Opponent in the last bonus race in the last cup of the Baby Rosalina Tour.

It will be a pipe with 50 pulls (like we’ve seen it with Classic Mario and Mario in the first week of this tour) and it looks like we see Classic Luigi and Luige as the featured ones without any new kart or glider.
It also makes sense to have those two drivers in the spotlight as they will be very strong in the Ranked Cup and high on the Tier List of drivers that we update every week.

By best guess will be that this will be some kind of “vintage” versions of them, probably High-End as their normal versions are only Super rarity so far.
