Stormy Shanna Control Deck Guide – MARVEL SNAP

With the release of Shanna there have been several deck approaches and this one here is a really good one as it uses strong control cards (and they work well in the current meta anyway) plus some Zoo features that make this a good deck but also a fun deck to play.

Card Strategy

Iceman doesn’t have any special synergies here but his ability to interrupt and annoy the enemy is great to have.
Ant-Man provides his ability when you swarm the board and you will with the cheap cards plus Shanna here for sure so you can buff him up with his extra power quite well.
Mojo works extremely well with here as you can get a nice power boost at the end for a location and even without getting his boost, he’s a neutral card that can power up Ant-Man or be used in other ways as well.
Armor is a great fit in this control deck to mess up opponent synergies, especially with destroy cards, And with many 1-cost cards you might want to make sure that a opponent Killmonger won’t mess you up too bad.
Scorpion messes up enemy synergies and snowball effects and can make the difference in the end and, worst-case, is a neutral trade for the extra card and 2 power.
Debrii swarms the deck nice and can enable the effects of Mojo or Ant-Man and also mess up the enemy side with a neutral energy/power ration absolutely a card you can get a lot of value out of.
Storm is a great card to lock down a location and then use Shanna or Doctor Doom to add more cards into it later and buff them up and often times already let you win one locations.
Cosmo is use in so many decks a controlling reveal effects in one location is just so mighty and can mess up your opponent so badly.
Rescue can make a great value card as you play many cards anyway and turning it into a 9-power card by dropping a card on top makes it one that works well in this deck.
Shanna is the card here that spawns some extra card that you then can use with Blue Marvel for more power, activate abilities like Rescue, Mojo or Ant-Man or reach into blocked locations where Cosmo or Storm are active. She has a little RNG factor but there are only very few 1-cost cards that you don’t want to see after Turn 4 spawned by her.

Blue Marvel will buff up all cards so you can get deeper into locked locations or gain more power across the board to find your win condition
Doctor Doom has great reach into locked locations or simply buff up all locations by 5 power to find your win condition and activate ongoing effects like Mojo or Ant-Man.
