The new realm in Voyage of Wonders is coming and it’s called The Painter’s Spell and it uses different puzzle elements that we have seen in previous realms merged into different stages – a fun puzzle, all in all. Here you will find out everything you need to know about it
The Painter’s Spell General & Rewards
As always, I won’t spoil anything about the storyline of The Painter’s Spell in my guide so you can read through everything, including the walkthrough, without giving away the chance to experience the full realm and the storyline.
The whole realm is pretty straightforward and has some puzzle elements, as always with Voyage of Wonders realms, to reach the final Crystal Chest.
Speaking of the final Crystal Chest, the main reward is 5000x Diamonds (which is basically the value of 10x Stargazing Cards), along with the shards, coins and event items:
I wouldn’t call the rewards bad, per se, as you can use the Diamonds for Stargazing or anything else. Some emblems would have been nice, but I think given the difficult level of The Painter#s Spell this is alright.

The Painter’s Spell Walkthrough
As always, you will find a full walkthrough for the realm here. With that being said, let’s not waste any more time and jump right into the walkthrough for The Painter’s Spell.

Step 1 – right at the start, after the introduction conversation between Pippa and Nemora, collect the Golden Chest right on top before you use the Terrain Changer (1) right at the start point. This will remove the grass blocking your path and you can clear out the camps you can reach now and collect the Golden Chests.
Make your way to the right and when there’s no camp and Golden CHest left, use the Portal (2) to the very right that will take you to the next island of The Painter’s Spell.
Step 2 – after the introduction conversation on the next island you just reached use the valve on top of the tracks to move the Terrain Changer on the tracks to the upper position before using it (1) to open up the path towards the right. Now also clear up all the camps and Golden Chests here
Then repeat like on the previous island, clear everything and then go to the right and use the portal you see there (2).
Step 3 – you reached a new island of The Painter’s Spell and first thing to do is to use the turret and THEN move the Terrain Changer to the upper position (1). Now walk to the right and use the turret in horizontal position (2):
Then go back and move the position of the Terrain Changer back down and then use it at the bottom position (3) to change to directions of the turrets
You can see that the turret to the right is now diagonal (otherwise you’ve done something wrong), use it now again (4). From here you can clear up the whole island and remove all camps and collect all Golden Chests before using the portal to the right (5):
Step 4 – on the next island use the Terrain Changer in the middle position (1). This will let you pass and collect a good bunch of Golden Chests. At the blocked path use the turret (2) before going to the very left side and go through the portal (3):
Step 5 – now you reach the next island and have a brief conversation with Leonardo. Use the red lever once to lower the red stone (1) before walking to the right and using the yellow lever there (2).
Then move the Terrain Changer to the upper position before using it (3).
Then go to the right again and use the yellow lever once more (4) and then use the Terrain CHanger in the top position another time (5). This will let you collect more Golden Chests, that you should do now before proceeding.
Then use the red lever another time (6) and you’ll be able to walk all the way to the right and collect more Golden Chests and the final Crystal Chest (7) – and now you should have cleared The Painter’s Spell completely.
